I would love to use this mod, and I did for awhile, but for some reason, I can't equip the armor from my more ores mod to the NPC's, which dissapointed me to the point of not using it for the time being....
Could you do me a personal favor and make the mods compatible?
The issue is, when I give the NPC armour from my mod, it doesnt show up as them wearing anything.. which makes me think they don't use the same class files to show overlays, where as the friend mod (Mr. okushama) the armor works just fine.

edit:I might know why modded armor doesnt work. Ill see if I can fix it in the next release
Woohoo! Mercenary is soon! Looking forward to having a companion with me. Also, I had the same modded armor problem. Anyways, I'm looking forward to all of it. Could you possibly add a miner and you would set dimensions of where he would dig, you'd have to give him a pickaxe though. Again, I love the mod and would like to help in any way I can.

Miners are on my todo list. They won't actually mine though. They will just randomly swing their pickaxe at nearby ores.

Anyway, love the merc. screen! :biggrin.gif: Will there be a way to set it up so that you have him infinitely? Or will that be a companion? Also, what happens when time runs out? Where does the merc. go, what does he do, etc.?

When he dies or when his time runs out he will return to his spawn point.
Noppes what I ment about enchants is that I would like to make some kinda of "Bosses" on my server to have a more adventure feel to it :smile.gif: And It would be cool if NPCs would use swords with vanilla enchants like fire aspect [ sets target on fire on hit ] or knockback [ sends target a few more blocks away ] etc

I would say you don't give that api to all players. Just restrict it to game mode 0 players.
