I think like mob they are in load chunks what can be seem, as far as aggro that would take too much computer cpu to figure out
The default minecraft mobs render from really far away so it appears to just be the npcs in this mod.. they seem to only appear about 64 blocks away. Also endermen can see you from much further than this so I'm guessing it shouldn't be too much stress on the cpu. I don't see why it should be when we consider what other games can due while using less.
You've done a great job on this mod. I love using it. However, the mod often causes my game to crash when attempting to load a GUI. And only happens when it is trying to load a GUI. For example, the Inventory tab when you make a new NPC. There are also a few other tabs that cause a crash but all of them are due to Minecraft being unable to render the screen/GUI.

Sorry if this has been asked before but: let's say I have 2 Transporters. Transporter A is in one location and doesn't move around much. Transporter B moves around a lot. Is there some way to have A transport you directly (or very close) to B and not just to B's original (spawn) point?
Second: is there a way to set a faction score *to* a number and not just increase/decrease by an amount? Something through scripting perhaps?
I'm still using 1.11.2, so if 1.12.x does this already, just tell me to blow.

there is a addFactionPoints you can change the players faction score --- to set it to a exact number you would have to proabably getFactionPoints first then subtract from the number you want and adjust that with the addFactionPoints

The mail system seems buggy and unreliable. When my sister was offline I tried to send mail with items, then sent another mail to her and then second time it said it couldn't find the username. I then sent mail to myself and it did it to me again the second time. Later on my sister joined my lan server and the mail I sent was gone along with the items I put into them.

Assuming that you mean the items that used to be added by CNPCs (Various Pistols, longer swords, spears, ECT) That was switched over to another mod that Noppes made called "Varied Commodities" Which you can find by clicking this.
Otherwise, if you are talking about the ordinary custom npcs items, like the npc wand or the duplicator, they are crafted like normal tools, but with... Bread. For some reason.

Command Blocks still throw out the exception "You are not allowed to use this command" when using Noppes command in singleplayer, but everytime this question is asked no one solves it, so instead I will ask
Could I script it so that on completion of one quest it would start three new quests at the same time?
The first quest is a dialog quest, and that character tells you the location of three things, so I wanted three different quests to activate at the same time so that it could be done in any order.

Don't say it isn't possible software wise because the vanilla minecraft nobs are visible from ages away in comparison. I feel like it should at least be a config option for beefier computers.
Also l feel like we should also have the option to allow npcs to aggro from further than the default max 64 blocks. Again maybe a config setting for beefier computers. This again I feel is possible when we compare to aggro ranges in other games.
Does anybody else have the problem where CustomNPCs completely breaks Just Enough Items on 1.12.2? It's really disappointing, as my daughter really likes using it to create shopkeepers and whatnot for our world. At least it doesn't crash my server outright on boot now, but as it stands the mod is still unusable because of this.
I really appreciate all the work that Noppes has put into this mod -- it's definitely a triumph of software engineering -- but it seems like he just doesn't give a damn about responding to issue reports. If he isn't going to maintain communications with users, I wish he'd just open-source the project and let others contribute.
Is one of the authors around? Can you please fix the latest version? Many reports of different crashes in 1.12, mod is not useable. I hope you have time to look at this.

So, just change the FontType=___ into the font style name we want in our pc?

I don't know what you mean, the mod has been updated from 1.7.10 to 1.12
The items have been moved into their own mod called Varied Commodities http://www.kodevelopment.nl/minecraft/varied-commodities/info

Ah Hello, Im really glad that i found and play this mod, but i found a thing that i a bug or something
In NPC Global Options there is a" Natural spawn" option and when i add a npc to it it wont "Naturally"
And i tried every other options and a lotto other things but it didnt worked. i used both 1.11 and 1.8 versions but it didnt worked.
