I believe you may be able to with the "scenes" option. However I have found that it is very hard to use without looking up some tutorials on it first. Try just searching up "minecraft custom npc scene tutorial" or something like that.
Ehh, i dont want to sound rude, but can somebody get me into the custom npc mod ? I am a bit fresh in the mc thing and would like to know more about this. Even when i dont have the game, sorry.
I have never met such a problem. Do you play on the server or in a single game?
On singleplayer. Any /noppes command does not work in a command block, not even /noppes help. It displays in the command block output: "You are not allowed to use this command"
It doesn't even work if I use dialog that executes a command, it doesn't work with any /noppes command, it just doesn't do anything at all. It's been like this for me since around 1.10.2 I'm pretty sure
I was able to solve my last issue by loading the world in 1.11 and flying around the entire map making sure that every single NPC was loaded in, then updating it to 1.12.2. But now I have a new issue with the mod itself. Before, if a dialog's availability was limited to be only a quest or something, a dialog option leading to it wouldn't appear in a conversation. But now, the dialog option appears, but simply doesn't do anything. In fact, any dialog option created appears even if no function is attached to it.
Hi ! I have a problem : when i change the max health to a npc that is a pigzombie for exemple, the mob have a health variation, he wins heath and loses health... How can i change max health please ?
I've downloaded this mod on a few older version before, and I gotta say, it's amazing. However, when I log on in 1.12.2 to one of my creative worlds, the inventory only shows the tools part of it. I thought maybe it was, like, a display glitch, so I tried searching up some of the other items like the coins, but nothing showed up. I do have other mods installed, but Custom NPCs has always worked with them in the past.
The stuff I have installed is:
Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 and associated mods (obviously)
WorldEdit
Xaero's Minimap
Xaero's Worldmap
Mr. Crayfish's Furniture Mod
and Bibliocraft.
Please help! I really love this mod and would enjoy using it to its fullest extent even more.

I have a question regarding the newest version of Custom NPCs. I tried to add a custom texture for the parrot model introduced in minecraft version 1.12.2, but I only get the black and purple missing-texture thing. I used the official parrot textures used in minecraft 1.12.2. Is there any way to fix this? Or is there another format that works?

Make sure that they aren't using any capital letters in the title of the file
so if it's "Parrot.png" or "Parrot", change it to "parrot.png" or "parrot"

So I am an admin on a 1.7.10 server that was thinking about implimenting custom NPCs, and we noticed the mail system, we wanted to know if it was possible for any OPed players or admins or whatever to see the mail being sent, or if you can see that through console or something like that.
Guys i have a question, its the natural spawns
So... spawn weight, higher means it spawns more of the npc or less?
Cause with other mods, sometimes lower means higher chance, and then there's times when you set it to higher and it becomes more rare
I just want to know which way it works here on custom npcs, if i set it low enough does that mean the npcs spawn more commonly?

Neither. Spawn weight is the likelihood that if something were to spawn, it'd be that NPC. So basically it first decides if it's spawning anything (Usually this is determined by vanilla MC or any spawner mod you may have installed.) If it is it consults spawn weights - The higher the weight the more likely that the thing spawning will be that.
So if you only have one NPC it doesn't matter what it's spawn weight is - If it's spawning something it will always be that NPC because it's the only one. If you have 2 NPCs, both with the same spawn weight, it's a 50/50 chance which you'll get. If one has a spawn weight of 1 and the other has one of 2, then the one with the spawn weight of 2 is twice as likely to spawn than the other NPC.
But still, spawn weight doesn't control whether something will spawn or not. That's determined before spawn weight is factored in. So if you want something to be super rare, give it a spawn weight of 1 and then another NPC with a spawn weight of 100. It won't make NPCs rare as a whole, but the vast majority of those that spawn will be the one with the weight of 100.
BTW, most mods use weights in this same way. Many don't have options to configure the amount of spawning happening, only the weights which affect what will spawn. If you want to control the amount of spawns you usually need a spawn control mod. I'm not sure if Custom NPCs has an option for spawn chance, but most likely not.
Hi, I just updated from 1.7.10 and when making a npc I can't see the Use Ranged Attack option. Did you delete it, or is it somewhere else?
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue before but the custom recipes are not working in version 1.12

I tried to add a custom texture for the parrot model introduced in minecraft version 1.12.2, but I only get the black and purple missing-texture thing. I used the official parrot textures used in minecraft 1.12.2. Is there any way to fix this? Or is there another format that works?
Can I remove the solid headlayer from a specific NPC?
Make sure that they aren't using any capital letters in the title of the file
so if it's "Parrot.png" or "Parrot", change it to "parrot.png" or "parrot"
Goodbye, Minecraft forums. If any of ya'll future people persons need to contact me for whatever dumb reason, my discord is EnderDude124#8340 as of 6/8/2019. Send me a message, I like a good chat.

No problem!

Hey, so I had a question.
So I am an admin on a 1.7.10 server that was thinking about implimenting custom NPCs, and we noticed the mail system, we wanted to know if it was possible for any OPed players or admins or whatever to see the mail being sent, or if you can see that through console or something like that.
thank you for your time in answering my question.
How can I make an NPC follow another NPC? I tried creating a scene with the script as follows:
with "Silica" being the name of the NPC. It doesn't seem to work. Is there a different format I have to use?
I'm in 1.9.4 if that matters.

Has anyone experienced this error before? It appears in chat when i try to clone a npcSlime trader. The npc works fine otherwise.
