I also noticed that with npc lines like attack or world lines, the NPC will for some reason say their name in the dialog. For example, I have an npc I named Bandit, and when he attacks you the chat shows
Don't put the NPC's name in the where you want to put what they say.

I'd like to clear this up, I should have done this first, but this seems to be happening in multiplayer, and I bet it has to do with sponge plug in Nucleus. I tested it in singlepayer and it didn't do it, so sorry to post.

I hope you have a backup, those npcs are gone dude. I experience the same thing but I have like 90 different backups of my world. See, you need to update your world to customnpc 1.11 first, and then fly around and make sure all of them load in, and then you can update to 1.12.2. And about the weapons, they have been moved to their own mod called Varied Commodities, they are on his website kodevelopment, and you need to do the same process, update to 1.11 first, then to 1.12.2

Well ok thanks . I have a backup of my world of 1.10.2 . The problem is that the conquest reforged mod doesn´t have a 1.11 version. Guess i´ll just create clones of my npcs and repaste them.
Hey can any of you help me, I've been having a problem with custom npc and vehicles, i try to mount them onto the vehicle and it shoots but it hits an invisible wall. dont know whats going on

First of all, I just want to say that this is the best mod i have ever used. But when I use it in creative only the tools tab appears. I only have access to the wands and such, none of the awesome weapons and other things. Should I remove it and re-download or am I just making some super dumb mistake?

Is there a way for a custom npc to spawn after the player has walked over/past a block? What I mean is, is there anyway for a block upon being walked over able to initiate the spawning of an NPC?
In my world I am trying to get a character to spawn once the player has walked over a block.
(SOLVED, found out I was using an older version of 1.7.10, sorry!)

I have a bit of a problem : I created a creature to spawn naturally (wip) and set the weight to 1, but I still get sooo many to spawn. I put a picture of the "dragon whelping" I created and there are sooo many! How can I reduce it even more?
I just want some rare random ones to come up in the world.
(sorry I just wanted to upload one pic but something went amiss)
Can I get an advice on what I have to do: I have tons of mods and I wand my NPC to interact (open) doors, well they do interact with vanilla Minecraft doors but I can't seem to get them interacting with the mod door ,Idk if i need to be scripting or is there a way I can do something in the files, please need answer ASAP

Hello I’m not sure if this issue has been addressed yet, but I am having issues with the custom textures for Npcs. I am able to find the file locations through the npc menu, but the texture will only come up with the purple and black missing texture. IN the custom npcs Assets and textures folder I cannot find any of the working base skins in the entity folder however they work when selected for a skin. I believe this might be some sort of location issue for the references of the textures. Hopefully you can help me out!
Edit: I think the issue was that all skins need to be lower case

and the speech bubble says

I've had a similar problem for a few months. I added customnpcs:scripted_item to config\jei\itemBlacklist.cfg and it seems to work.

Just updated from 1.10.2 to 1.12.2 . all npcs are gone. What can i do?
It´s just the Npcs missing. Factiondata and all other stuff is still there.
Is there something like a worldconverter for this mod? I´m using it together with the conquestmod.
Just found out, that if i use the clonetool i can use clones from the previous version. The next problem:
If i gave them weapons or tools provided by this mod they are gone for good. (The weapons)
will i get a virus?

Does Anyone know how to add custom currency instead of Emeralds? Or if its even possible?
You mean for vanilla villagers or NPCs? For NPCs you can set their role to trader and then insert any currency you want.

I would like an answer to why NPC can't move vehicles or shoot from mounts on 1.7.10 cause I see vids and they have people moving vehicles
