Is there a way to load a flans mod vehicle model as the NPC model in 1.7.10? I desperately need Living Vehicles the size of tiny. Reason i need this so i can make Living Vehicles shoot the enemies of the Nation. And no not drivable ones. This would be a great small addition.

I wouldn't think so, flans mod vehicles are a different type of entity to the ones Custom NPC's picks up. Also as far as I'm aware however Noppes stopped new content for 1.7.10 quite some time ago, so I wouldn't be expecting it to happen.

If thats the case then... I am gonna have to find another way to make a tank-like humanoid that can enter the Modern World to defend the United Green's White House..

i LOVE this mod!

But there is one thing im struggeling with. How do i get them to use wands with magic??

Or any other type of magic?

Would be nice to make a mage that can use magic missile or a wand to shoot with

Thats it, you could check for something in left hand -> npc.getLeftItem() == "??" or both with a && between two comparisons. You could copy the else if down again ( and again) to create many possible weapons the npc could have - etc etc
Really just 3 lines of code or so - the lines beginning with "//" are just comments and could be removed - change the name in the "" to what ever weapon you want.

Just some suggestions from a guy who doesn't know a thing about CNPCs scripting (but does know a little Java).

Now I've got half of it to work, but now even if the npc is wielding nothing or if its wielding any other item it still will attack with 10 melee strength when I want it to attack with only 1 strength in that event.

Thats not working because "nothing" does not have a name! You always have to check if something is empty first before checking its name.
My script I think was not working because I don't know how to spell it looks like -- I have damage with two "m"?? With mine it increased the damage 10 above the default so you would not have to set it down when nothing was in the hand.

BTW the reason your first example was not working was the () on the end of name making it look for a function or something.

Just don't try to name it first -- use
if (npc.getRightItem() == null )
one of my top ten errors -- try to get the name of null and crash!

yeah your right (or you could just flip it), oh no wait your wrong -- if he has something in his hand besides a diamond sword nothing happens

(you can run both if's together like this) then when diamond_sword MS 10 -- empty or anything else MS 1

Is there a way to attach a customnpc horse to a chariot with a lead, just as an aesthetic thing to look like reins?
