There are "availability" options available for quests, one of which is daily.

I have a request for the linked option of NPCs. As of now we can have linked traders which is neat for when you want to have multiple traders and all have them sell the same stuff however it would also be just as useful to have linked drops. Not the entire inventory tab just the drops portion but also the equipment as a separate option.

Hm, good to know that you've already done the move and visibility commands.
Anybody here use the Golden Lasso from Extra Utilities? It allows you to capture mobs and place/transport them elsewhere with ease. When used on CustomNPCs, however, the NPCs duplicate. Anybody know how to disable this or am I screwed? I'd rather not have my server members capturing the quest NPCs. I really would like to keep the Golden Lasso for other mobs such as mounts/bikes so hopefully there is a workaround.
I'm also having this issue with the Golden Lasso! I know you wonderful modder(s) at Custom NPCs can't fix this, but have you heard of a way anyone else has been able to fix this? I'm using the most recent version of both mods. Perhaps I need to use an older version of either? I didn't see anywhere in the configs to fix this but perhaps I just missed it!

EDIT: Nevermind! I have fixed this issue! To work around this, for future reference, set the Custom NPC's respawn setting to "no" then you can move it around in the golden lasso just as any other passive mob! :3
NPC's can be given either the follower role, or the companion role if your using the 1.8 beta. To set an NPC to one of these roles, open one and select the "advanced" tab. Then cycle through the roles until the desired is displayed, you can also edit the role specifics to your liking.

You can activate it when you go to categories -> add -> and then (repeatable) can you do yes MC Daily, MC Weakly, RL Daily and RL Weakly.
It is the 2nd Button you can press from the bottom.
I downloaded forge for minecraft 1.8 and installed it, and then I downloaded custom npcs 1.8. Then, I put it in my mods folder. I opened minecraft, but when I play a world, the grass looks like tall green X's, and the sand looks like sprinkles. Most of my inventory is covered in square, sand-colored boxes, some of which have a black letter on them. I have tried turning InventoryGuiEnabled to false, and it doesn't change anything. Is there anything I can do to solve this?

i have an adventure map with custom npcs that I want to update to MC 1.7.10. how can i transfer my cloned npcs, dialogs and quests to the new version?
npcs, dialg and quests are done automatically, If you dont want to loose your blocks and items from my mod update to the latest 1.6.4 from both forge and my mod and open your world with it once. Its to prevent them from getting lost in the removing of item/blocks ids in 1.7

Hi Noppes im loving 1.8 with custom npcs but I've got some odd bug my crossbow an thrown weapons are held sideways by my npcs an the only ammunition that fly's straight is the normal arrows but All ammunition seem to have a bug where they fail to well stick into blocks they hit but stick floating above or in front of the block they hit. I believe its a bug but im not sure how to fix it maybe you do hopefully.
Yup Im aware its something I still need to fix/rewrite.

I am having some trouble with scripting. I want my NPC to change its texture from my skin to my friends skin when its health gets below a certain point so I used the code npc.setTexture (my friends username); but it wont change. All of the other things (such as melee strength) change like they are supposed to but the texture wont change. Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

Hi Noppes today I want to ask if there would be any more Bow types for Custom Npcs its a bit sad with all my different races an factions using the same bow from my texture pack so I wondered if you were planning more like the bows I gave you that you liked. out of curiosity would there be more they would be a great addition to my racial texture pack im making for npcs :3
I spoke to Noppes a while ago about more items, but he declined in favour of squishing bugs and adding more NPC features for the time being. By guess, you could expect them after he's done with updating + giving NPC's more features.

Try updating your Forge version to the latest available for 1.7.10, and update to the latest Custom NPC's version for 1.7.10 and your problem should disappear.

I have a strange issue: right click on an empty space does nothing instead of oppening the list of existing NPCs. After installing the last version of the mod even right click on the NPC works no more, so I can't edit anyone.
I use 1.8 beta.
Maybe I've installed something wrong, but it was the only way to make it work: I had to put the files to the MODS folder inside game folder as well as to the Forge Server folder. (What is strange is that customnpcs folder inside the server folder is empty)
And there are some issues when there are more than one player at the server (I use local server) - the game crashes after the attempt to get access to the inventory.
Wanna learn CustomNPC scripting but I can't find any documentation on what methods are available for some purposes. I've googled all over the internet and I can't find anything on it.
Is there any documentation, examples of scripts or something other useful?

I am having some trouble with scripting. I want my NPC to change its texture from my skin to my friends skin when its health gets below a certain point so I used the code npc.setTexture (my friends username); but it wont change. All of the other things (such as melee strength) change like they are supposed to but the texture wont change. Can someone tell me how to fix this please?
Having issues running the CustomNpc mod along with 12 other mods I have loaded. Running Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge10.13.1.1219. The mod allows the game to load (I can get to the menu screen) and when I click the Mods button, the mod is listed there; however, when I create a new world, before the world even generates, I receive the "Shutting down internal server" message, and then the crash report is displayed. I spoke to Noppes a while ago about more items, but he declined in favour of squishing bugs and adding more NPC features for the time being. By guess, you could expect them after he's done with updating + giving NPC's more features.
Try updating your Forge version to the latest available for 1.7.10, and update to the latest Custom NPC's version for 1.7.10 and your problem should disappear.
I have a strange issue: right click on an empty space does nothing instead of oppening the list of existing NPCs. After installing the last version of the mod even right click on the NPC works no more, so I can't edit anyone.
I use 1.8 beta.
Maybe I've installed something wrong, but it was the only way to make it work: I had to put the files to the MODS folder inside game folder as well as to the Forge Server folder. (What is strange is that customnpcs folder inside the server folder is empty)
And there are some issues when there are more than one player at the server (I use local server) - the game crashes after the attempt to get access to the inventory.

Wanna learn CustomNPC scripting but I can't find any documentation on what methods are available for some purposes. I've googled all over the internet and I can't find anything on it.
Is there any documentation, examples of scripts or something other useful?
