Can you make the way for adding custom sounds easier like choose it in game than doing the .json stuff, because I don't understand the thing you do with .jsons.
Sorry, yes I see that now, have never used @dp. Have your tried for troubleshooting purposes putting the actual name of the player in the command?
Thanks doattoad, you got me thinking and I spent a while trying to troubleshoot the issue further. It appears that the command runs fine (either @dp, @p or an actually name) if I run the command but nothing occurs when the npc tries to executes it. I now suspect it's the server not allowing the npc permission to run the command despite the NpcUseOpCommands= being set to 'true'
...still no idea what to do about it but at least I know it's not the mods issue. I'll try to seek help elsewhere, thanks

can u guys help? i want to make a wither that shoots crazy arrows and attack any mob it sees,i got the arrow part but i cant seem to get it to attack any mob it sees, all it ever does is just sits there and if i come close, it will start attacking me （yes i tried going in creative and spawn some cows near the wither)

Out of question above: Since I am making a server using this, can someone make me a texturepack that I can put NPC skins in, and some weapon retextures: Example: I want the Machinegun to be a blaster from SWTOR, musket a sniper, All the pistols to be Star wars themed, all the weapons different colored lightsabers: (Wood is a training saber stage, and it goes all up to Demonic and the only difference will be the hilts)
But I am too dumb to find out how to put this in a texture pack. Someone help?

Is it possible to create spawn eggs out of the custom NPC's that are created? This is so that you can now have an exhaustible, tradeable (buyable/sellable) supply of custom NPC's on demand without relying on the Cloner Tool, which imho is pretty OP for survival. It'd also be a nice gold sink for when you start to surplus your diamonds/gold/ whatever and want to buy something.
And awesome mod. Still going strong after several years!

I dont think you can do the egg thing but I think you can script an NPC to spawn after a dialog or quest complete (event of some sort) and despawn him sometime later when he's not needed. There is a hirable role/job(forget which) too then scripting won't be needed.
I know what it is, I think it is the Spawner or something. Idk. I really think so. Or you get the Mob spawner and place it, and wait a few seconds and you get some NPCs there. You may not be able to attack them so you just have to reload the map or server(Depending on what it is)

It doesn't look like making actual eggs are possible, but Soulstones are the equivalent of them. To use one, you just right click it on an NPC to capture it (It's just like a pokeball! ...Except they don't break out.). Then, you can make NPC traders to sell them. Once someone buys one, they just have to right click and the NPC will be spawned. This, however, consumes the soulstone, so you'll need an empty one in order to recapture it, which you can make that trader sell too. I think there's a config option to prevent players from using it to capture regular mobs too (Stops them from easily acquiring an animal farm without leads or food).

Out of question above: Since I am making a server using this, can someone make me a texturepack that I can put NPC skins in, and some weapon retextures: Example: I want the Machinegun to be a blaster from SWTOR, musket a sniper, All the pistols to be Star wars themed, all the weapons different colored lightsabers: (Wood is a training saber stage, and it goes all up to Demonic and the only difference will be the hilts)
But I am too dumb to find out how to put this in a texture pack. Someone help?

Hi Noppes.
Is it possible to create spawn eggs out of the custom NPC's that are created? This is so that you can now have an exhaustible, tradeable (buyable/sellable) supply of custom NPC's on demand without relying on the Cloner Tool, which imho is pretty OP for survival. It'd also be a nice gold sink for when you start to surplus your diamonds/gold/ whatever and want to buy something.
And awesome mod. Still going strong after several years!

Curse PremiumI dont think you can do the egg thing but I think you can script an NPC to spawn after a dialog or quest complete (event of some sort) and despawn him sometime later when he's not needed. There is a hirable role/job(forget which) too then scripting won't be needed.

I'm pretty new in scripting in custom npc, so I'd like to know if it's possible to use player.isAlive in this case ?
And is it possible to change the npc model (custom npc, creeper, customnpcs.npccrystal...) by scripting ?

I know what it is, I think it is the Spawner or something. Idk. I really think so. Or you get the Mob spawner and place it, and wait a few seconds and you get some NPCs there. You may not be able to attack them so you just have to reload the map or server(Depending on what it is)

Just capture an npc with a soul stone and use that as your spawn egg
It doesn't look like making actual eggs are possible, but Soulstones are the equivalent of them. To use one, you just right click it on an NPC to capture it (It's just like a pokeball! ...Except they don't break out.). Then, you can make NPC traders to sell them. Once someone buys one, they just have to right click and the NPC will be spawned. This, however, consumes the soulstone, so you'll need an empty one in order to recapture it, which you can make that trader sell too. I think there's a config option to prevent players from using it to capture regular mobs too (Stops them from easily acquiring an animal farm without leads or food).
