Hi noppes there has been a problem with loading the latest version of CustomNpcs. I have other mods installed but I believe it is caused by a missing class.
If I got it right, your using the Custom NPC release for 1.7.10 for 1.7.2, try updating your Minecraft to 1.7.10 and update your forge, as well as any mods that you can.
If you require aid with Custom NPC's give me a shout (In the thread, not PM's). I can read a bit of error reports, know most of the NPC workings (I'm attempting to work on scripting) and have been using it since its 1.0 version. Otherwise I'll help with any questions or problems I can.
Is there anyway that I can make this mod support mcmmo plugin? That is, I can train my mcmmo skills by killing npcs, not just natural monsters or animals.
Actually when I use /killall or /Butcher npcs will be killed, too. /killall is related to a mobtype, and I'm wandering which mobtype the npc is. Because in the config of mcmmo there is a place where I can actually set the mobtype that I can gain mcmmo xp upon. So maybe this question can be solved just by knowing custom npcs' mobtype.

When I use /killall animals or /killall monsters or /killall mobs, npc will live. But if I use /killall, everything including npcs will permanently go away. So I'm assuming that there is a type ABC tied to custom npcs and that if I use /killall ABC I can only delete all npcs. And knowing this type may also help me configuring mcmmo plugin.

I do not know. I did not create the killall command. If I had to guess maybe mob? I do not know what that plugin defines a mob as a mob. There are no hard types.
I wanna restrict players to certain Items (I wanna make classes :P) is it possible to add something like this using factions and Faction points?
Nope its not. Well you could make certain traders only accessable by certain factions, but they can still throw their items on the ground and others can pick it up and stuff.
Hello Sir Noppes I have tried out your mod for 1.7.2 it seems to have been working completely fine and I love the new things you have added! But I have realized one bug with multiplayer I just won't work I try to make an npc and then the server just crashes! It makes me mad because I have been wanting to play your mod with my friends for a while and now it does not work... Can you please fix this bug. And I know it is a bug because I made a 1.6.4 server and I worked perfectly I have it running when ever I want but the 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 are not working for multiplayer just wanted to let you know so that you can fix the bug. I have an problem with npc ai...
They won't rotate at all rather i change their option or not
They won't stalk or rotate body when there standing...
Is this a bug??
Stalking is indeed somewhat broken. Body rotating seems to work though

I don't know why but I made a NPC and it will not spawn normally, probably cause my world is super flat. I've tried making it spawn everywhere and it has plenty of room to spawn. I saw the video but it doesn't help. I put respawn options to no. not sure if that helps. also some of my npcs that I used pather on are mysteriously dying. I saw it myself, the npcs get hit red and die but there are no mobs or anything to kill it. the boss bar isn't working for me, only when I spawn it, and sometimes I have difficulties with the npcs like I can't select them and they let me do quests I set to do only once. it fixes itself when I exit and come back but it's fairly annoying. i'm playing on 1.7.10, thanks and love the mod :3
That doesn't seem like something an NPC mod would do, so i'd guess he won't. Just install another mod that does that/make your own mod that does that.

Having a certain amount of "Samurai" Faction Points allows you to use "Samurai" Related Items...or at least lets you keep them in your hotbar.
I'm running a server with both pixelmon and Custom NPCs, and i created an NPC and tried to make it a pixelmon. Didn't work, the model wasn't loading or something. That's not the issue.
However, pixelmon recently updated. And whenever i enter the area that npc was in, i crash and i get the following report: http://pastebin.com/HgfUpnjs
I tried to downgrade pixelmon again, but the NPC won't show up with the wand. (Game doesn't crash when it is downgraded)
I guess the question is: How can i remove this NPC without having to be near it?
I've tried McEdit, but that npc is the only one that isn't showing up.

I created a generic NPC and in the global Natural SPawn settings, I added all the available biomes and set his spawn chance to 50%.
I have yet to find a single one spawning in my world.
Is there something obvious I'm missing? This is on SMP, 1.7.10.

I Would try it but it would be too much redstone with the amount of Items and Custom Items Ive Made.
