If you require aid with Custom NPC's give me a shout (In the thread, not PM's). I can read a bit of error reports, know most of the NPC workings (I'm attempting to work on scripting) and have been using it since its 1.0 version. Otherwise I'll help with any questions or problems I can.

Hey-- I have a rather specific problem that maybe you can help me with. =)
I have a Feed The Beast server that I'm currently testing, and installed Custom NPCs on it with no problem for either the server or my client. Strangely enough, although users on a mac can connect, stay on, interact with and create NPCs with no problem, Windows users cannot and crash immediately in the presence of an NPC.
We've tested this and sifted through crash reports and found that the windows-mac connection is the only change. I'm not sure if this is a problem between FTB and CustomNPCs, or something else but hopefully you can help. =)

Being able to use this mod on my server would make me the happiest person in the world.
In addition-- I've tried redownloading it and testing it today, with the same issues. This time, I could see all of the items, but I did get a strange glitch with the other modded blocks in the world. Maybe it's a clue? I'm not good at deciphering incompatibility issues.
Basically, distant blocks become semi-transparent. This only seems to be a problem with mod blocks, vanilla are 100% opaque.

I signed up to the forums to easier follow this mod's progress, and I'd like to suggest a few small additions that were not on the todo list, or the current plans. I imagine they wouldn't require too much effort to get working, but that's from my standpoint.
Firstly, I'd like to recommend being able to add a second overlay skin to your NPC model that is not susceptible to lighting, meaning that it glows in the dark. This is much like how the spiders and enderman have glowing eyes, and I think it'd make a great addition to the mod. enderchibis and herobrine just don't sell it when they don't have that glow.
Secondly, I'd like to suggest adding the "aiming" stance to the posture list, under the names "aim standing" and "aim walking". This would be the same pose the skeletons have by default, having both hands on their weapon. I suggest this because it looks silly using the default zombie pose whenever someones shooting arrows at you.
This last one is more of a bug report than a suggestion; whenever an NPC is set to stalk the player (always stare at them), they periodically spaz out wildly. Hopefully that will be fixed in the next update.

Hello Noppes, I'm a huge fan of your mod and I use it regularly for little projects like testing weapon strength and making little adventures of mine. Today I was think of a concept for an adventure map. I didn't want to make the map vanilla, I wanted lots of story and role play put into my map. Can I use your mod for the map? Being able to use this mod on my server would make me the happiest person in the world.
In addition-- I've tried redownloading it and testing it today, with the same issues. This time, I could see all of the items, but I did get a strange glitch with the other modded blocks in the world. Maybe it's a clue? I'm not good at deciphering incompatibility issues.
Basically, distant blocks become semi-transparent. This only seems to be a problem with mod blocks, vanilla are 100% opaque.

I signed up to the forums to easier follow this mod's progress, and I'd like to suggest a few small additions that were not on the todo list, or the current plans. I imagine they wouldn't require too much effort to get working, but that's from my standpoint.
Firstly, I'd like to recommend being able to add a second overlay skin to your NPC model that is not susceptible to lighting, meaning that it glows in the dark. This is much like how the spiders and enderman have glowing eyes, and I think it'd make a great addition to the mod. enderchibis and herobrine just don't sell it when they don't have that glow.
Secondly, I'd like to suggest adding the "aiming" stance to the posture list, under the names "aim standing" and "aim walking". This would be the same pose the skeletons have by default, having both hands on their weapon. I suggest this because it looks silly using the default zombie pose whenever someones shooting arrows at you.
This last one is more of a bug report than a suggestion; whenever an NPC is set to stalk the player (always stare at them), they periodically spaz out wildly. Hopefully that will be fixed in the next update.

I downloaded this mod to my server. But I want to protect NPC Wand and other tools that customise NPC's.
I also downloaded MCPermissions to do that. But I cant find item ID's of NPC wand and other stuff to use that command:
