ok this is us upsetting me the fact that youve spent all this time on this mod and you keep putting out updates but nobody is postin or giving feedback, its a REALLLY good mod and people who like using redstone cricuitry should find this easier, the blocks do not burn cause ive used this around a lava moat but seriously 68 replies to this topic and mostly the one whos making this for you guys but anyways Love the mod like always and ill try to get more people to notice this mod because its amazing, also is it smp compatible?
Thank You So Much! That means extremely a lot! I'm glad you love the mod!
I would love to see pictures of your lava moat using this mod!
Also, I have created some support banners if you'd like to use any of them. They are posted in the OP in their own section. Thank you for spreading the word even if you don't use any of the support banners that I created.
As for multi-player, I have been waiting on that for several reasons. One of which is the impending update of Minecraft itself to 1.3 which is supposed to be adding mod support. So, I haven't been wanting to make things work and then possibly have to make drastic changes.
Plus, I haven't had much interest in this mod despite my efforts so far (despite lots of extremely positive feedback about the mod). So, that is another reason I haven't really put any support into multi-player yet. Although, if I knew for sure that some server hosts wanted to use this mod, I'd have been more inclined to go ahead and add that support rather than waiting for the 1.3 update of Minecraft. After all, if server hosts were using it then that means all of their users logging onto that server would be exposed to this mod. It is definitely planned for the future though.
Another one of the many reasons I haven't updated this mod to support multi-player yet is that I have been testing some code changes that would speed things up and possibly reduce the number of block IDs used (one per block instead of the two currently). Also, I have been playing around with possibly adding one of the many new features that I have been wanting to add. Currently, my own version of Wireless Redstone. In addition, that would allow me to more easily make it so people could make lamp posts and chandeliers in the form of wireless lamps rather than having redstone current travel through fence posts and/or bars (which would slow things down).

your welcome, and i didnt see the support banners or i would of had one by now but i have one now its that animated one, and i will be getting the word out cause i like to post on mods that everyone likes to talk about, but i understand that everyones waiting for 1.3 to come out so im perfectly fine with waiting, and i will upload some pictures as soon as i get the chance and ill make it into an edit on this quote so dont requote this, lol but anyways as earlier its great mod and i love it, i know when credit is due and this definitely deserves it. i really like that slircuit cube cause you can make some wicked traps out of that. 3 diamond blocks for you (tired of seein diamonds and not diamond blocks, since 1 diamond block= 9 diamonds, wouldnt it be easier?)
edit: also i cant get your banner to work shows up as a line to me saying the adress and stuff
got it working ill just add a new message with the pics in it, ill put them on here in a few hours from now cause i need to get some sleep but i think i might have a few ideas that you might be interested in, message me or reply to this letting me know if you want to hear my ideas

I'm always open to hearing feedback! I would love to hear any suggestions that you may have! There may be no guarantee that I'll actually use any of those ideas but I can't determine that unless I find out what they are!
I'm also looking forward to the pics!
And, thank you for your support and showing the banner! Since you stated that you originally had a problem getting the banner to display properly, was there any problem with how the signature code was initially formatted?

hmm well when i tried to use the code you had written for the banners i just copy and pasted but that didnt seem to work at all so i just right clicked the picture of the animating one and copied that and then pasted and that seemed to work, sorry but i had a bunch of mods installed and i had to find the lava moat again i should have it up sorry for the wait on that though >.< but also i came to also tell you about this mapseed i found and i thought youd like to see it cause its just weird and it has a watermelon patch in it O.o i can either give you the seed for it, or message you my serverip so you can see for youself :3 or i can do both but yeah, umm my ideas are prolly alot more diffrent than what this has anything to do with, ummm what id like to see honestly is sometihng like that slircuit cube but, its a solid when not powered, and when you do power it, it becomes like a trampoline instead of sliding through it i thought that would be very good thing to add, im trying to rememer what else oh. my friend jon wanted to know if you could try and put this into your mod, now its a little diffrent than what i thought he ment so bare with me on this, he wanted a block then when powered would be completely trasperant , no lines around the edges or anything and when its not powered it would be like a jet black. after he explained this to me i was like "THAT WOULD BE AWSOME" but he also said he wanted like a circuit cube that was a power switch (same thing as redstone torch but just a block) but when u right click it, it would turn off, and when u right click it again and it would turn back on. (we both pitched in on that one cause i came up with the right clicking on and off) but yes, these would be some really cool "Add-Ons" if you wanted to, their just ideas so you dont have to use em :3 im just a think tank though so im not really good with modding XD

Hmmm, interesting concept. But, I'm not sure about the main difference between the active and non-active states being the hard while inactive but hard and bouncy when active. It seems like the block might as well always be bouncy rather than only when powered. Any additional thoughts on this are still appreciated.

This sounds like a complete reverse of the slime block (and then some). Instead of being able to go through it when not powered, the block would go "out of phase" (so to speak) when powered. That wouldn't be too hard to do but I'm not sure where it would fit in with the theme of this mod. Again, any additional thoughts on this are still appreciated.

I had thought about doing something like this before.
The problem with a "redstone torch" type of block is twofold. First, there's already a redstone torch so it isn't necessarily needed in block form. Second, redstone torch placement allows for them to be powered off (inverted). By making it as a block form, it would always want to power stuff next to it without any way to power it off unless you were able to right-click it. In which case, the right-clicking ability would make it more like a "lever" block rather than a "redstone torch" block.
However, as a "lever" block instead, I have been playing around with the idea of how useful or not it may be. Thing is, once again, there are already levers in the game so it's not really needed etc.
What I think could be more useful, and something that I do eventually want to add into my mod in one form or another, would be a type of "pressure" block that works like a "pressure plate" in block form. From the sides, it would also be able to work like a button when you right-click it. From the top, it would activate when stepped on just like pressure plates.
the trampoline block i was talking bout is basically, hard when unpowered, and bouncy when powered, so you can walk across it when its not powered, but when someone powers it, it'll shoot you like 50 blocks in the air is what i meant about that. and the redstone block, i meant its like a lever, but in the shape of a block instead of a lever, for it will be easier to use that instead of an actual lever (since levers look weird to me when i dont have symmetry and have a lever on each side of the door way) the block will act as a powerswitch basically :3 is what i meant on that, like a lightswitch but with the actual "switch" part, itll be just like a normal block that you can place as part of your wall and use that to power everything in the house with the circuit cubes.
Edit: also i forgot to ask you if i can use this mod in a mod pack im designing for a massive "Smp" mod pack when 1.3 comes out, ive currently gotten "NewNaturalMaterials" and "ExtraBiomesXL" in it for better gameplay, i have not gotten permission from the owner of "NNM" but i have gotten permission to create a new texture pack for "ExtraBiomesXL+NNM" for better looking ores, and can tell the diffrence between certain objects. but ive been very active on the forums lately, explaining to people what i feel about their mods and stuff so hopefully it goes well with your mod also cause the support banner is on atleast 10 diffrent posts that have been talked about so far. but as i was saying earlier, i would also love to re-create textures for your mod (unless you want me to leave them the same) then thats fine, all credits of this mod will go to you if it is in the modpack but all textures created by me (if allowed) will go to me, and all textures created by the owners of the mod will go to them.

Doesn't really seem to fit with the theme of this mod in my opinion. There are also a few other types of blocks that I would like to get working that I feel would be higher priority at the moment.

Right. I think the "pressure" block should come first. It would function like both a pressure plate and a button. And, being that it would be a block, it could be moved. After some other blocks, I will probably revisit the idea of a "lever" block again.
Edit: also i forgot to ask you if i can use this mod in a mod pack im designing for a massive "Smp" mod pack when 1.3 comes out
For various reasons, no.
I do not want this mod to be part of a mod pack.
First off, this mod isn't currently coded for multi-player. Regardless, there are still many other reasons why I am choosing to not allow this mod to be part of any mod pack.
but as i was saying earlier, i would also love to re-create textures for your mod (unless you want me to leave them the same) then thats fine, all credits of this mod will go to you if it is in the modpack but all textures created by me (if allowed) will go to me, and all textures created by the owners of the mod will go to them.
If you would like to create some alternative textures for this mod for different texture packs, I can create an "Alternative Texture Add-Ons For Different Texture Packs" section in the OP for people to be able to download them if they want. I can list them in categories based on the texture pack they are meant for and give appropriate credit to the creator of each specific set of alternative textures. Maybe the texture pack author can even make those alternative textures available if they choose.
Awesome work. This is a very good mod, I'm confused as to why more people don't use it frankly.
Anyway added the banner as my signature, hope it will gain interest in the mod. Keep up the good work.
Thank You!
It's comments like those that help keep me motivated to work on adding things like the upcoming Wireless Redstone Power Transmitter and Receiver Blocks! Making progress! I think I'm almost there. Just trying to figure out the best way to go about a few certain things.
And, I'm also confused as to why more people don't use this mod. Maybe after I finish getting the wireless stuff added in.
Thank you for showing one of the support banners I made available! Hopefully it does add interest.
Side Note: If anyone wants to try and make their own support banner, I'd like to see it. If I think it is both appropriate for this mod and meets many specific criteria (that does NOT mean the banner has to be complicated or even animated for that matter), then I "may" add it to my support banners section in the OP. But, please do not be offended if I choose not to add it.
I got to thinking more about it, and it shouldn't be that hard to implement this for Color-Tinted and Lighted "Glass Panes" after all. So, after the Wireless Redstone Power stuff, I will probably be attempting to add Glass Panes too. We'll see.
Another great mod iiihuman. Looks really cool im gonna try this out, good for some intricate redstone plans of mine Great mod!
Well, my ONLY mod ... SO FAR.
And, Thank You! I would love to hear your thoughts after you try out this mod. Maybe you can even provide some pictures/video?
Now, I'm also kind of curious as to what other mod(s) you think are mine? I do help a lot of people on other people's mod's threads. But, this is currently my only mod at the moment.
If anyone thinks the download has viruses or something:
I have scanned it on 5 different systems, with 3 different anti-malware tools, but I though one image would suffice.
EDIT: Just saying, come on people, use a banner as your signature!
Thanks, mahicool!
I don't think anyone thought there was a possibility of a virus but I'm glad you posted that just in case there were people thinking there might be. I appreciate it.
I'd love to see more "Followers" of this thread too. And, more poll votes, comments, etc.
There does appear to have been a little bit of a spike in downloads yesterday and today.
While it would be nice if there were more comments, I guess I should be a bit grateful in a way that there isn't since people often mostly post when they are having a problem. Since no one appears to be having any problems, no posts.
I'm seeing some great mods from you iiiHuman. A lot of people are making new ore or new weapons etc, some of which can lag world spawn. However you seem to concentrate on visual aesthetics which seems to be sadly missed out a lot of times especially for a game that relies on creativity. Thumbs up mate.
Hmmm, that's the second time someone has said I have created other mods. This Circuit Cubes Mod is still currently the ONLY mod I have made ... SO FAR.
I do help people a lot on other mod threads but those aren't my mods. I'm curious as to what mods you think are also mine.
Mabye OptiFine? You post quite a lot there, so you may be mistaken for the creator. Then again, it may have been a typo.
I don't think it was a typo. I was guessing OptiFine too. That, and/or Magic Launcher. sp614x is the creator of both of those for those people that don't know.
But, I don't want to just assume one or both of those were the ones.
Thank You So Much! That means extremely a lot! I'm glad you love the mod!
I would love to see pictures of your lava moat using this mod!

Fun With A Slime Doorway:
By the way what texture pack are you using when you were showing the pics of the slime bridge (with the creeper in it)
