2 screenshots for you: 1 is of the map and 1 is of my night sky thinking the 2 are related.
any ideas what this means?
I myself am having an issue with the red and green lines with white text boxes, anyone know how to remove it? I want to make sure it's gone from my modpack.
so i've noticed those red and green lines randomly appear after awhile, yet from what I can tell if I restart minecraft they go away. it's still annoying though.
@InuYasha86000 got it again, restart didnt help it... infact it may have made it worse. the UI now seems to change its "color" based on the current level of light. no light = completely black UI. deleting world fixed.
Note: i do have the mod "Easy Colored Lights" by cptspacetoaster so i get the feeling the 2 are related. also now the white boxes are impossible to read and each "chunk" square has a random symbol from the font file that minecraft uses. in addition both times it started whilst in a modded dimension so im unsure if thats somehow related or not. screenshots of what my UI looks like. also posting to "Easy Colored Lights" forum just in case this is an issue on that end.
word of advice: remove shaders. colored lights DOES NOT like it. a powerful pc is dropped to 1 fps if you enter a block that should have "light" if both are installed.
This has persisted through several builds of Journeymap, but I only just realized where the lag was coming from. I do have a couple of Journeymap's keys rebound, but that's no reason for the program to OOB.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
I hear alot of rumors about this mod that it will drasticly decrease FPS, is this true or can i use this in my private modpack with thermal expansion, buildcraft, ect.

In my experience, Journeymap doesn't cause massive lag unless another mod is somehow interfering with it. Generally, unless your computer already seriously struggles, you'll almost certainly have at least a playable framerate, and probably a rather good one.
But of course, the best way to find out if there's a problem is to just toss it in your mods folder and try it out, the file size is small and I doubt it would damage your world even if it did somehow cause massive lag and/or get removed.

For those who don't mind a bit of reading, I've been writing mod examinations on Hubpages under the name Cliffwalker. So far I've done full articles for several mods, including the likes of Witchery,Enviromine, andLycanite's Mobs, and I have also written a few multi-mod articles to help those who wish to find upgrades for a specific aspect of their game, such as the Nether.
is there any way to get the mob sprites on the map to scale down if the sprite's file is large?
I am trying to get a set of Pokemon spirites to show for mobs, but this is what it ends up like:
I could scale down all of the sprites myself, but if there is a way to do it with journeymap, it would be much easier than making the script for resizing all of the sprites.
Edit: for now I will just be using this, via imagemagick
for %%i in (./process/*) do convert "%~dp0process\%%i" -resize 64x64 "%~dp0process\%%i"
To get the mobs, install the resource pack on the github, or use the Pokécube Mobs mod below.

So has journeymap been fixed to show mobs from the Project Zulu mod yet? Or vanilla bats for that matter?
I am getting flooded with console messages from Journeymap, associated with massive lags. They look like this:
This has persisted through several builds of Journeymap, but I only just realized where the lag was coming from. I do have a couple of Journeymap's keys rebound, but that's no reason for the program to OOB.
Can anyone please tell me is there anyway to disable players name tag?
Does anyone know when this will be updated to 1.9?
Is there a possibility to limit the height the mobs are detected at? I only want the mobs to show at + or - 5 blocks

Press Default (J) to open the map, then go through the settings, there should be one there for the player names

Which "waypoints menu" do you mean, other than what already exists in the mod?

When will a 1.9 version be released?

IIRC, you need 16x16 sprite for mobs. Assuming the icon takes full image surface.
