Trying Journeymap for the first time here. Did not find answers in past comments, so here goes:
- Is there a setting to change the default text for deathpoints? I don't need the date and time in there, which take up a lot of space on the minimap. Would avoid having to edit them all the time, I can't always go back to them immediately.
- Is there a way to set font size to half-sizes, i.e. instead of 1 (too small on my display) and 2 (too large), we could set 1.5?
-- Or, is there a way to set the default Minecraft font size to 75% of what it is now, that'd work and make basically all mods use up less space with their interfaces at the same time. (Setting the MC interface size doesn't help either... in the general Video settings menu, "Small" interface size is too small, and "Normal" could stand being smaller than it is!)

No. At most you can remove the "Death" prefix.
If you can't return to them immediately, just turn them off.
No. Change UI scale to play against it.
Look into https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/smooth-font for better UI control.
(A tip: on high game scales, scaling fonts 90% I've found the results a bit more pleasing with not too much distortion.)

is there a way to change the command for Tp? A friend plays of a multiverse server and Runs spigot but /tp isnt the teleporting command used its /tppos (not sure if its one or two words) so she is trying to figure out if you can change the /tp command or not
Having used Journeymap in the past on a MCPC+ ... er, Cauldron ... er, kCauldron server, using a Bukkit plugin (Essentials) to provide teleport ability, my experience is that as long as you have granted the right permissions, Journeymap Just Works.
Bookmarked, at least in case I have to abandon OptiFine again. (Though ... I see it works with or without OptiFine?) I had to abandon use of TrueType Font Replacer, too buggy.

Well, one of the things I like about Optifine is that it replaces the horrible pixelated vanilla font. (I think Notch took some of this pixelation stuff a bit too far.) Not only is it often hard to read, it's ugly as heck.
Now I have another option for decently readable fonts even if I end up removing OptiFine again. (I thought I was going to have to ditch it already, but it turned out it's much more stable as long as I use the latest D2, don't use even the internal shader, and don't touch ANY configuration options whatsoever.)
That said, I may try it anyway with Optifine so that I can pick my own font.

As a representative of a nation, whose entire alphabet is outside ASCII range, I haven't had much time enjoying that pixel art. A few months in beta, and then MCPatcher (and then OptiFine) came to play, along with Unicode fonts a bit later.
For some odd reason the web map isn't showing the map but only the icons and the gui but no map. I mean that there is still a gui and markers and icons but the map isn't showing. I am using this in 1.7.10. I am using it in 1.7.10 because the main mod that is very important is only for 1.7.10 and the creator of the mod still kept it 1.7.10 and he updated it this or last year.
Is there any way to add Custom tiles to custom colors ? The reason I want to do this is that I play with the Streams mod, and it uses custom water tiles to make it's rivers work. In an earlier version of Jourmeymap the tiles were detected correctly as blue, but nowadays Journeymap shows the color of the tiles underneath the Streams water tiles, so usually sand colored. I don't like the way this looks and would love to change it.
With the now availability of rift for 1.13+ will this ever be updated to support 1.13+
I have it working on 1.13.2 using a version of rift for 1.13.2, you just gotta dig around for it, the rift version was a snapshot version for 1.13.2, you just can't use optifine with it because for some reason optifine and rift makes any glass appear solid orange, at least in 1.13.2

I would love it if the button just wasnt there at all. I love Journeymap, and the teleport function is great. The last server we played on that had it, and its great for traveling to frequently used locations, but it really changes the exploration part of minecraft when you know you are a button click away from being back at your "base". And there are other mods that can give me the functionally of teleporting to certain spots, but that also require a bit of sacrifice to just teleport from anywhere.
Anyway if someone can help me do this that would be great.

Ok so quick question regarding Waypoint teleports

Try clicking the "targeting crosshair" to recenter it on the player.
May be the map is way out of explored regions.
