2: turrets are much harder to make, they are basically vehicles. not planned for near future.
So uhm.... Entire Cities are not planned for the Worldgen, though maps like this have been considered... (this sort of thing is just too big/complex to put in the generator from what i understand)
I found a mod that does city generations http://www.minecraft...uin-generators/ so the city gen part is possible. I am not saying you guys should do it or even look into it I am just saying it would be neat traversing the world rescuing cities.

Do the different armours have to have different stats? I don't think it is fair to call one armor better than any another,the MJOLNIR is far by my favourite and I would be wearing it during this whole mod,just because it isn't the new fancy chief armour shouldn't mean it is out dated.
I do get what you mean, and I'll try to keep this in mind. but different armors will have different abilities, some are stronger. thats just how Halo works.
Ok, we haven't ironed out the armor system exactly, but in general, I think the armors will go by series.
Reach is MJOLNIR mark V, which is mechanically superior to Mark IV, and inferior to Mark VI. Master Chief in Halo 4 technically still uses Mark VI (Since, mark VII didn't exist in 2552). We don't know what the armor from Halo 4 multiplayer is, not sure if it is going in soon.
Mark VII will be superior to all of these, though no one knows what it looks like.
All this is subject to change of course, the advantage to a small team being that we make it up as we go rather than plan it out, set in stone.
I think i have to retract that part about not planning things ahead. A lot of stuff is planned months in advance of actually being made. However, the point i wanted to convey is that anything we plan can be changed at any time.
This being said, i'm starting to work on planning the Armor system, so if you have any suggestions please comment or PM me. This is about what armors should be in, and what they should be able to do.
What is already planned:
MJOLNIR mark IV
MJOLNIR mark V
MJOLNIR mark VI (3 and 4)
MJOLNIR mark Vb (entire Reach armory)
MJOLNIR mark VII
MJOLNIR GEN II (Halo 4 multiplayer)
Marine armor
ODST armor
Specifics of armor abilities (ex: better jumping, fall damage) not determined yet.
For armor abilities,
Jet Packs could be like a regular jet pack that you would see in Industrial Craft. But they wouldn't run out entirely. Just only in limited amounts of time.
Hologram would be hard to do I guess maybe another entity with they same programming and skin of the player would be sent out in a continuous direction until it disappears into particles. Pretty hard.
Drop Shield would maybe be an instant sphere of glass that dissipates after a while?
Active Camo would just make you invisible but stop after a while?
Armor lock, would you really want to put it in?

What we need are suggestions for what a particular MJOLNIR should be able to do. I am only really posting about this as an opportunity for you guys to contribute to the mod by giving new ideas for the armors. otherwise, we will probably just write out the armors the way we usually plan stuff out, then change them only if something new happens.
If i sound rude or insensitive, i'm really tired right now and not feeling great. that and, people always go "armor abilities? you must mean the stuff from Reach!"

Its funny because in the last week before you posted, there were almost 40 posts in this thread, 13 of which were by Dev Team members...
