Zombieland is a mod that transforms minecraft into a brutal wasteland. Trees, almost nonexistent. People, dead, now they've turned into mutated creatures known as zombies, some take many horrifying forms. Houses and ruins lay scattered through the world as to show you what was. Food is a struggle, managing supply's and taking risks to gather something you really need to survive is all here. This is the zombieland mod, this is survival.

Client:
To install, simply download this and minecraft forge. Navigate to your .minecraft folder, and open your minecraft.jar using winrar, or winzip. Deleta the file inside minecraft.jar labeled, "META-INF" Open the minecraftforge.zip that you got and drag and drop its contents into the minecraft.jar. In this mods downloaded zip file you will see two folders, Jar Files, and Mod Files. Open the jar files folder and drag and drop all of its contents into minecraft.jar. Close minecraft.jar and minecraftforge.zip. Open the mod files folder and inside of the .minecraft folder create a folder called, "mods". Then drag and drop the contents from mod files into it. Your done! Launch Minecraft and Enjoy!

Chapter 1: The Sickness
As I wake up this morning I notice something different. Something in the air doesn't feel right. I went walking around town today and everyone was coughing and seemed to have a cold. I didn't really think much of it since in a small town like this bugs spread around all the time. But it keeps bothering me? The air is so stale? :
I went out today and found hardly anyone on the streets out and about. Everyone is getting sick. Even the dogs seem ill. It's really starting to worry me? the air is so thick it's almost nauseating. I've noticed now even the clouds are turning a green tint. What's happening??? :
I'm really scared now. People have started dying and the jukebox keeps saying for everyone to stay indoors and not to bury the dead, but to burn them. I went to the hospital to visit my father who had been sick with this virus. The entire hospital was empty? Blood everywhere? Please Notch stop whatever is happening to this world.
Chapter 2: The Walkers
I'm writing this in what used to be my home. Now it?s turned into a sort of fortress from the monsters that roam the streets. All the people that got sick are dead- not dead alive, well moving but not quite human? I've seen them. The blank stare the constant groaning? They tried to kill me. They're monsters from some twisted fairy-tale. The air is so stale now. The clouds have turned a sickly green and the sun is turning red. Is this Hell? :
It's not safe in my house anymore. They know I'm here? I've heard stories on the jukebox that there have been cities built above ground and even some that have been built underground. It seems like they'd be safe? I sure hope so. Almost everything is dead now. Most grass and dirt has dried to sand, it never rains, and trees are like the fabled diamond we always hear of in those tales of dwarves and spacemen conquering evil. I see dogs occasionally but they've turned rabid and wild and seem as dangerous as these Walkers banging on my windows.
Chapter 3: The Endgame?
It's been almost 10 years since I've written in this book I made. I write this hurriedly because the Walkers have invaded the underground cities now. These were our last hope. I'm afraid this may be the end of me as I can hear the hordes weaving through the city. Oh Notch, the cries are getting closer? Wait, I have one more plan. A couple of the men have built a portal to a place known as the Nether. We have studied it and we believe we have the proper materials to survive in this new dimension. Certainly we need not worry of the Pigmen we have encountered. I must go now. They are breaking down the door. Off to the portal I go!

hmm l4d in minecraft? sounds cool i might do it i love zombies!
Played a few hours this afternoon of this and had fun. Managed to get myself a rubbish cobblestone house setup after a while and got a load of trees steadily growing.
I did notice 1 bug though, when you respawn you have the same items you start with but if you try to use those items, they disappear. Same happened if I started a new world unless I exited the game first.
Anyway, I have done a video of this mod and it will be up probably tomorrow or tonight so look out for that
This is an awesome mod! I made a small shelter, and then I heard it raining outside. When I stepped outside during the storm, all I could see was this
The only place in the open area where there isn't these random images is when I look straight up.
But apart from this, I've had no problems apart from the world being created slowly, and this is an awesome idea and mod!
I had the same problem, what I did was remove the mods rain file and replaced it with the original rain file. Its located in the environment folder in minecraft.jar

I had the same problem, what I did was remove the mods rain file and replaced it with the original rain file. Its located in the environment folder in minecraft.jar
I hope this helps.
