I just downloaded the latest version of the Metallurgy pack today, and I've noticed a Block ID issue. The Metal Block in the Precious mod and the Copper Door in the Base mod share an ID of 935, which renders the game unplayable while both are active.

It would definitely make sense for the Crushers. I'm not sure about Smelters, though, given that their gimmick is supposed to be a much hotter-running furnace that requires a stockpile of molten lava to maintain temperature. It might be reasonable to assume that the Heater is insufficient to meet the Smelter's temperature needs. Also, does the Heater work with metal furnaces?
Not the lava ones...that wouldn't be balanced. Was just talking about the coal buring machines.
So playing a bit and I kinda felt my metal furnaces looked a bit funny next to the crushers so I retextured the furnaces with the crusher's fuel source half
Updated texture in my Drive too
I seem to be getting some significant lag when certain ores are in view (some of the ones with particle effects). Could be another mod, but only seems to happen when I'm looking at mettallurgy ores. It's still playable, but it's just odd. It shouldn't be straining the PC in any way.
Edit: It seems when they are in view or near by, my memory usage skyrockets and minecraft does its memory management, (where it dumps memory or whatever you call it), but its happening so often that its just lagging instead. I've allogate 5Gb of memory, and the dumps are happening at 2.5gb. Could be an issue on my end.
so you cant put in in like you can in thaumcraft? =(
2nd or 3rd time this week... When the mod is 110% done (i.e. never), Shadowclaimer may consider putting all in a single download. Until then, put up with using a few minutes of your time to download the mod.
Thaumcraft is probably the only mod I know that allows you to add generation to already explored chunks.
Got an interesting bug between Thermal Expansion and Metallurgy; I'm not sure whose end is causing it, and while I'm guessing it's them, I'm reporting it in both places.
Smelting dust or ore into ingots with Thermal Expansion furnaces or smelters, then crushing the resulting ingots in Metallurgy crushers, results in electrum dust with every Thermal Expansion ingot I've tested. Other mods' ingots crush just fine, so I'm assuming it's on their end.
There's also the fact that the Thermal Expansion pulverizers and furnaces don't recognize fantasy metals on my server for some reason, but I'd imagine that's on their end as well.
Just reporting it here on the off-chance that it's related to M2 somehow.

Thanks again for the excellent mod.
Don't think it's a bug that you can't crush/pulverize most of the ores from metallurgy in TE machines. TE uses it's own dictionary labels for it's dust in the ore dictionary so this maybe why. Then again it could be that metallurgy metals(most of them) aren't recognize by TE so of course they won't crush/pulverize.
There are 3 alternatives to this, crush your ores in metallurgy 2's crushers, use railcrafts rock crusher or use industrial craft 2's macerators (or your choice of machine from one of the many addon mods for it.)
Looks like a fun mod...pity I can't get the installation to work. I swear I've done everything exactly as instructed, but nothing's changing in-game at all...

I would recommend getting the latest version of forge and also use MultiMC, i was having the same issue as you but once i used those two items it ran very smoothly. Also MultiMC makes mod loading very easy

Yes, it seems to be that it's because there's no "pulverized prometheum", as you said, and it's nearly certainly on their end, and probably even working as intended, but I just thought I'd bring it up here as well, just in case
I need to know all mods togheter affect Vannila Ores Generation? I played this mod one time, all togheter, but I install with installator, a installator bugs MOD? In 20 days playing I found just 1 Diamond
Then change one of them. Simple ID conflict.
In case the guy doesn't get it...
Harley means go into the config file and change the ID's for those items.

You download all of them (except the API and the Mystcraft addon if you don't use Mystcraft). They each add a different set of ores.
Only by exploring new chunks.

Have you tried smelting the dust?
