Mine wont work. i extract modloader put in the .jar then i do the same with this mod and all i get is a black screen. I forced update before i did all this
Hey new idea for you, make achievements, like the one where it's the diamond thing, instead make it like OOOOH SHINY!!! and you need to get a platinum ore, then another $.$ Chaching! which is craft your first coin or stack of coins. Then we would have different purposes for them.
I might do achievements eventually, but I'm still angry about the achievement system.

1) Deleted META-INF
2) Put Modloader into the Minecraft.jar with winrar
3) Put in this mod with winrar
4) Opened the minecraft launcher
5) Logged in
6) Got black screen

In your .minecraft folder.

After playing around with this Mod for a day or two now, I will gladly say it adds so much more fun to the game with different blocks/textures to use and different weapons/tools - adds much more to do in the game and I def urge anyone to download this mod and use it! :smile.gif:

Cant wait for the config file! I feel like I would get more satisfaction finding a large but rare or very rare vein than all the small ones I find now. Someone did this with a mod but he modified a lot of source files so I don't want to touch it. Will have to play with different configs. So many good things are happening with this mod I don't know what I most want next!
If you are gonna do gilding and gemcrafting, how are you going to change the sprites? Silver/Gold/Platinum border on the tools? A gem near where the tool head and handle connect? Dang, now I have diamond studded adamantine armor stuck in my head xD

I want a Diamond Handled Diamond Halberd personally.
I won't be combining all the top tier metals together for any alloy, I might allow you to mix lesser metals with higher ones though to give them a use.
I mean the ores in between diamond and umbrum...

Say, when you making this mod compatible with balkons weapon mod, be sure to add bolts for the crossbow that are made out of different materials if possible.
One of the gripes in balkons mod is that the crossbow is rather useless, as its ammo is expensive in terms of iron to make.
This means copper bolts would sure be swell.

I tried to replace ids, I even ran java and rewrote each id.

Hello. I just got this error message when I tried using the mod on my game and I was just wondering where I FUBAR'd on this. I do have modloader and the META-INF file is till deleted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open Modloader.cfg in the Config folder, change MetallurgyBase to Off.

Oh the Cinnabar, Azurite, and Malachite, thought you meant Adamantine, Mithril, and Orichalcum.
I don't know what I'm doing with those three yet, I might just make them super low durability high potency tools or something.
