Thanks! it Works, but the Macerator only works with Ores in Block Form... when i destroy an ore i get the ores like a little rock... i mean it appears a rock with the coal shape, and the colors of the ore (iron = light brown - gold = golden yellow - copper = dark orange)
That's because full IC2 integration is not complete yet, you cannot macerate my ores yet =(

u.u then let's take to Wait... isn' there any aproximate date? or it will still in "coming soon"? haha.
really thanks for you attention, hope you can fix it. i love your mod!
Its a longer way off than most features, I really want the integration, but IC2 1.1 is relatively new and I'm already in the process of a lot of other things I deem more important for the time being.

Forgive me for lending my voice to words you don't care to hear, but... Why? The only thing I see this doing is adding in a new 15 ores into the game, in which have no other use than to make tools. Not to mention, the addition of making you go through these new tiers to get one previously available by means of an Iron Pick, you make the game far more tedious than it needs to be. To add to the tediousness, you've discouraged players from mining deeper and deeper to get certain ores, and forced them to run around all of creation to get to the next tier so they can mine out that sparkly diamond they found a week ago.
That's bad and balanced AWAY from the player's favor.
If I could offer criticism to help shape this mod into something that would make for better gameplay, I suggest cutting down the number of ores that make Tools/armor, and fill in the gap made between the Iron -> Diamond tiers. And I don't mean for you to completely throw out these ores you've put much thought and planning into. Instead, make them do something alternative than just plain Tools. Copper, for example, could be used for Piping, perhaps in such a way to transfer water and allow for a form of Indoor Plumbing. Brass is widely used for it's antibacterial properties, used in Faucets, Doorknobs, and dining ware. Zinc can be crystallized into a foggy glass material. Silver is superstitiously believed to ward off the undead, causing them great pain when in contact with it. Not every metal in the earth was used for warfare.
I admire the currency aspect of this mod, but it wouldn't do much good without people to barter with, would it? Sure, this could be a cornerstone Multiplayer mod, for roleplaying servers, but that's about as far as it goes. If you could modify the villagers (The Testificates), and delve into that for bartering, then you've opened up a whole new window for your mod and a new appeal to more users. I can't offer service to do this for you, and I suspect this to be a difficult thing to program; but you've gotten this far!
Please, I wish no malicious intent with this criticism, and I dearly hope you don't wave your hand at this as nay-saying... This mod has potential, but is simply misguided. What Minecraft needs is not more tediousness and strict tier progression. It needs something more useful, more entertaining, more creative than that. Something that can be applied to more than just one thing- which as it stands is Combat.

Thank you. Don't hate.
Although I understand your criticism and it has been brought to my attention before, such extensive extensions of Minecraft's base code are beyond my control in some regards, and in others implausible (such as editting Notch's villagers) without damaging base compatibility. I guess its a little different for some of us, being Dwarf Fortress players, we're used to tedious mining with the only outcome being new better tools/materials. Eventually other uses for the metals are possible and I'll definitely look into alternate uses, but for now I can't really say I have much planned.
However every Metallurgy metal is in fact callable by other mods, so if someone were dedicated enough it's not that difficult to make a submod for Metallurgy adding in alternate uses for stuff (IE: those damn buckets all you hooligans want..) but for the time being I have no such plans myself. (I actually planned on writing a guide to making Metallurgy submods)
It should be really nice fitting the fantasy world. Also the name suggest that Dwarves were using it, or maybe they found it. It should be as hard as Iron, maybe a little bit harder.
It shouldn't be so rare, or maybe it should but in big veins like Coal.
There should be possibility to make tools and armors from it.
Also maybe you should add something like smelting so you put armor or tool into furnace, and you are getting for example 1/2 of ores that you used for it.
Example:
Putting Iron sword into furnace - You are getting one iron ore.
I had a Dwarven Gold in the original concept sketches for Fantasy Metals but I swapped it out for Carmot, which had a richer history and a cooler implementation. Instead I kinda did Deep Iron as a "callout" to Dwarven entities basically in reference.

Yeah, that is what i mean. That is what the new ore looks like. Like i said before, you need to put the ore into your crafting to create dust. Then you can smelt it.
And what do you mean by "Macerator"? That isn't part of the mod yet.
