They've started doing some rather clever things to improve recipe search speed. I think I have an update that supports the new recipe format, but I there are some other changes, possibly new bugs.
If you want, here is the most recent build I have, though it probably needs some improvements (or, at least, I need to look over GregTech and IC2 to see of there are more machines, check if I started working on some feature but forgot about it, and look for obvious bugs). Even if nothing needs to be changed other than the version number.

CraftGuide, recipe viewer with a scrollbar! (Resizable window, too, if you prefer playing with a smaller GUI scale and are tired of GUIs only occupying a tiny square in the centre)
I'm sure you already know and will fix it (or just dump the item and only use the key bind) but as forge for 1.7.2 is out
[08:09:24 INFO]: Client> 2013-12-29 08:09:24 [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Found anonymous item of class uristqwerty.CraftGuide.ItemCraftGuide with ID 23617 owned by mod craftguide, this item will NOT survive a 1.7 upgrade!
Hello Question how do I change the keybind from G to H so I do not have problems with another mod that uses the G key??? Have tried to change the config file but it does not seem to change the keybind.
1.7.4? Messed with me too.
I used the MC/Options/Controls.

To answer your other question, which is more important to you, SPC or Railcraft?
I'm not familiar with how to make it work but MCPatcher works similarly to Magic except you can choose which lines of code to use when there's a conflict.

hello, I wanted to ask permission to use this mod in my modpack and videos to YouTube, divulge this post and the mod will never say that I am his mistress (the mod). can I?
Just wanted to say thank you for this mod. I got sick and tired of having to check the Minecraft Wikia, each time I wanted to craft an obscure item I haven't touched in several months. It's nice to just click a key, and then look up the item I want to make. Very handy.

Nice mod for the most part, however when I went into creative mode and started searching for "engine", it opened up the interface when I got to "g". It seems this happens when you don't manually click on the text box before you start typing (even though you don't need to). So unfortunately I had to get rid of it.
Also, you can't use Ctrl + A to select all the text when you're searching in this mod, it just inserts the control code it represents.
It's a "feature" (more of a lack of a feature, really). If your mouse is currently over an item and you press the key, it opens the GUI and searches for that item.
I hadn't considered ctrl-A, thanks for pointing it out.
Can you please make a close button for the mod it would be really helpful
Planned feature, though I haven't done much with the GUI itself in a long time. When I do (hopefully before or during 1.7), a close button is probably one of the first things to add.
Hello, Uristqwerty! Can you make a Mekanism mod support?
I'll try to look into those things before updating to 1.7. IC² might be fixed in a old test version a page or two back (sorry, I got distracted before actually making it into an updated release).
Current plan is to go over mod compatibility one last time in 1.6, then finally update to 1.7, then hopefully spend some time improving the UI and some of the GUI code.

I am a little late, but I made a very good showcase on your mod "CraftGuide!" Its also in my Top 5 mods of all time video. Hopefully you can add this video to the page! That would be awesome! Thanks.

*That assumes that Diegreenluke never changes his post about how helpful it would be to add a close button to the GUI!
Try the i (my inventory) key.

@ Uristqwerty; I'll add my thank you.
