Okay, finished the Minecraft 1.5.2 no loader version. It has a few issues (no default item name localization, keybinding not loaded properly, so if you want something other than the default, you have to change it every time) that would normally be handled by ModLoader or FML, and fixing them would take quite a bit of code as well as possibly editing a few commonly-edited classes.
It goes directly in minecraft.jar, and overwrites one of the existing Minecraft classes. Hopefully, I picked one that no other mod has any reason to edit, so it should be compatible with everything else.

You, Sir, are a scholar and a gentleman. I loaded it using MCPatcher 3.0.4_02 under BTW 4.891 and I can confirm it works like a charm. Thank you!

Hi there, newb question here... If I had, say, two mods with two different items but using the same recipe (i.e. recipe conflicts, not ID conflicts), would craftGuide show both of them? From what I've read so far, recipe conflicts usually result in one item/block (the one that wasn't loaded first) being uncraftable/unobtainable unless you go Creative and spawn them into your inventory...
Any idea what stuff being changed causes the crash, or have a stack trace from it?
Unrelated: I have been working on an update for the 1.6.2 versions. Included is a less hacky way of getting the resources to work, support for two more GregTech machines (lathe and plate cutting machine), and finally adding BuildCraft assembly table and refinery recipes.

I changed a couple of stuff on the config file like pausing, keybinding, scrolling, and mundane potion recipes. Sorry, I already deleted the crash report and got rid of craftguide for now, but it's not that hard to replicate the crash. Also, the guide book is missing texture.

I have a problem with Forge retaining keybound changes I make. Can/how can I change the config.sys? I'd like to make the open key RightShift instead of G. I changed Options.txt to ReadOnly (works), but Forge doesn't like that either. I didn't see in any CraftGuide.configs a way of changing that key.

In non-Forge MC The done key hides the Craftguide change key, regardless of what size screen is used. I've upgraded since 1.6.6Beta. I still have/use/need configs from earlier versions of MC.
Thank you, bless you, and I adore you. This works so well for me and best of all, doesn't crash my game! I had that problem with Recipe Book in 1.5.2 as in, opened it and dead. NEI straight up hates my senior citizen laptop, so having this is a bobsend coming from the Xbox 360 version to PC with 20+ mods installed.
Keep up the great work!

A friend said,"`Stalemate resolution associate'? In some places they call that a loaded weapon!"
1.6.7.3 breaks the keybind for me completely. Doesn't pull up the gui, doesn't show up in the Minecraft controls menu, doesn't show up in options.txt. CraftGuide still shows up in the Mods screen on the main menu, so I believe it's still loading. Tested with just CraftGuide (and Forge) to rule out it being a mod conflict.
Environment: MagicLauncher 1.1.7, Minecraft 1.5.2, Forge 7.8.1.737. Thoughts? I've just reverted to 1.6.7.2 for the time being.

I'm really surpirsed that Mojang hasn't implemented something like it yet into the PC version. Thanks again.
Thanks Uristqwerty! It is very much appreciated.
