I love this mod for creating shapes where there is a deficiency in the minecraft world - chairs, balustrades, spiral staircases, four-poster beds, etc. However, it would be so much nicer if, once created, a shape could be saved as a block, and placed like any other minecraft block. The reason being I could place my little-blocks-created chair whenever I needed to, without having to close MC, import world into another program with its difficult-to-use controls, copy, paste, etc, merge world, wait 15 minutes, open MC again, and check what has been corrupted. ...only to do this again the next time I'm building a new house, and need to place another chair.
Maybe a chair is a bad example, but are you feeling my pain?
A block - 8x8x8 little-blocks = one "save". A larger piece of furniture (eg a bed or a hat-stand) would have to be saved in 2 blocks. At least this way, we'd keep our constructions creatively small thus preserving the blocky nature of minecraft.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Creative Minecrafter. No build is ever really complete, just "waiting for a better/prettier mod".
The mod works fine for me, but i dont know if im doing it wrog or what but the redstone repeater works rather odd, they work like a memory cell, when they get on, they stay that way until i destroy, and also they only receive the 'on' state when they are placed directly in a redstone current, is because is in beta or am i forgetting something ?
Ok, I have installed this mod many times before and for some reason I am getting a problem now, even after having installed forge, Eury's and littleblocks, but it just keeps happening. from what i see it appears to e because the slot id for it is taken up, why would this be on a clean install, all i have is what is asked for and even so you keep mentioning the littleblocks config can change this is so where is this i cannot seem to find it anywhere

Can someone please tell me if the current version supports pistons and repeater? I tested it for several hours (different versions of minecraft forge, eurys mod, modloader ect.), I can not put Pistons ("sorry, you cannot place that there") and repeater are heavily bugged.
In the video, they work perfectly, and it is not in the changelogs that anything of this kind was changed.
Minecraft 1.4.5 / Little Blocks 2.0 Beta04
The mod CURRENTLY doesnt support tile entities and such, including pistonshttp://slimevoid.net/ read this post, in the coming updates the mod will support the tile entities

You have a conflicting ID problem, is prety simple you have to change the ID in the slot 140 for littleblocks in the config file of the config folder
I made 2 things: 1 of them is someone of a modern lightpost (noticed little blocks don't block light. an interesting feature, so i made a giant light lol)
also, I can't find out how to upload them, so i just put em on fb whatever. here's the modern lightpost:
the 2nd thing I made was a pillar for my tower. of course, this was on a creative world and I was only testing how it would look (and now that I think about it, the inner spiral should be the other way around) but here it is:
also, not sure if anyone mentioned this (too tired to look, heading to bed) but here are a few bugs.
1. you can't place chests on the little block slab. not sure if this is a glitch or you just decided no more chests on there, but whatever.
2. if you place workbenches on the slab, they don't work. (haven't tried furnaces)
3. light passes through blocks (this is actually a neat feature/bug. I even made a lightpost out of it!)
4. if glass is placed on the slab, it'll be completely invisible.
5. you can't place the slab on glass, you can't place mini blocks against glass after slab is set up, and if you're trying to break the slab, you can't break it against glass.
6. liquids simply do not work. although this isn't really a problem.
7. never make stairs out of blocks/slabs. ends up kicking me saying "illegal stance" if I try walking on em.
can't really think of any more, but there you go, just an fyi. good luck
Can someone give me the installation of how to install it for 1.4.4 It just crashes everytime! Please REPLY
did you make sure you downloaded eury's core as well? you need eury's core as well as little blocks, plus forge.
also, if it's actually crashing, please post your error report instead of shouting "it crashed what do I do" ok? no one can help you if you don't give the information needed.
if it's crashing but not giving you a report, try the program that will log your crash errors for you. was it... mcerror? I can't remember it off the top of my head, sorry, I'm sleepy.
finally, if you have multiple mods that include items, it may be a case of clashing id's.
please help when i put the zip into the mods folder it doesnt say its intalled it just says i have the same number of mods as i did be for PLEASE HELP
please read the instructions on "how to download" /)_< it clearly states to put the contents of BOTH zips into your minecraft.jar. not put it in your mods folder.
i just tryed to put glass cabble from ic2 on a little and instant crash lol
assuming from thekazador's crash and that the mod is still in it's beta stages, I'm gonna say no. if you try to put a block from another mod, it'll crash, at least until this mod is finished.
He would but Gullivers that makes you big or small and its for redstone contraptions and if you were huge there are no huge blocks i had to build a house when i was a giant IT took me over an hour and over a thousand pieces of wood the best way is the way it is
there are no huge blocks if he just made you bigger that wouldnt help at all if he just made blocks tiny then he wouldnt have to make a script for making someone huge and the mod for that is gullivers which rocks. If you are a giant it will take you 25 minutes to make the doorway of your house and an hour more plus all the wood that would be thousands of blocks
Maybe a chair is a bad example, but are you feeling my pain?

Creative Minecrafter. No build is ever really complete, just "waiting for a better/prettier mod".
you and the creator of gullever mod should talk about making them compatable then everyone would download this

Doors doesn't work
Lava/water just stands still (well in some cases it can be good)
If you try to place villager, minecraft crashes
You can't combine it with Gulliver Mod so you can't go into your creations
