Perhaps it's a silly idea, but how hard would it be to write a converter, to convert a normal map, to small blocks, so that 1 grass block in "real world" equals 1 small block.
Yes, he knows this, but placing the redstone there shouldn't be causing crashes - regardless if he is suppose to use a torch or not, the power state should just be ignored in all causes except for a torch
Can you make it so that in order to be powered by a big torch, the redstone should be on the side of the block, 1 in and it would not be powered
Can I suggest you make a block chooser thing a tool with durability? "the enchanter" would come in all varioties normal tools come in and would have have less "power level"(durability) the weaker material you make it out of
Could you add disenchanting blocks (for lag reduction)
Could correct your install instructions for this to say "drop zip mod in the mods folder"
Could you make it compatible with optifine? (it for the most part is - its just all the little blocks are invisable)
I could see this being useful for making models of a house(any building really) you might build later on. So this way you have an in-game picture of what it will look like before you build the real one.
My little blocks worked until I crashed the game (don't put block 9 in the Little Block...) and now the blocks draw like 8 blocks North of where they should. What is wrong?
EDIT: I just realized that this only applies when your N-S (X) coordinate is negative. It probably happens with E-W as well, but I haven't tested that. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.
I'm having trouble with blocks not showing up when I place them. The hitbox shows up, but they don't. =(
Edit: They're drawn at an offset of 12 blocks.
Look at my previous post.
Also, I found out that if you leave your world and come back you can't place any blocks inside the LittleBlock. Work out the bugs (which there appear to be many of) and this will be a truly epic mod.
P.S. Another glitch I found is that if you try to put a Little Blocks Block inside a Little Blocks Block it'll crash the game and corrupt your save because these little things can't contain TileEntities.

Wow, moving to all positive coordinates did make the blocks appear. Weird.

note: I take it back except for the great mod thingie!
when i save and reload the redstone stops working.... i made an entire complex system...and now it does nothing, had to dig it all up and start over using normal sized redstone. grr lolz

Yes. If you leave a world, the mod stops working on ALL worlds. Can't get it back. The "Little Blocks Block" acts like a normal block except with little tiny bounding boxes if you leave a world. This doesn't make sense...what is it changing? The code? Is this a plugin that modifies its own code?!
EDIT: If you completely restart Minecraft, it starts working again. So it only modifies the code *temporarily*.
Okay. Here is an official bug list for 1.3 (ones that i've found):
Attempting to place a Little Blocks Block inside a Little Blocks Block results in a NullPointerException followed by a crash.
Leaving a world and entering another (or the same one) without restarting Minecraft causes all Little Blocks to become non-functional.
Applying Redstone current via a button or lever to a Little Blocks Block causes a "Saving Chunks..." screen followed by a crash.
---- This seems to be caused by a stack overflow or an infinite loop. My console spams the same "at net.minecraft.blahblahblah" crap over and over and over and over and over and over and............
---- My setup involves a LBB, Redstone Wire next to it, and a button above the Redstone Wire. Crashes on button/lever power, but not on un-power
Blocks placed in an LBB at any coordinate that is below zero (X or Y) are drawn at an offset.
Redstone inside LBBs doesn't update all the time. It seems as though if you update an LBB that isn't directly next to another LBB, that other LBB stops updating until you restart Minecraft.
My mods installed:
ModLoader 1.8.1
ModLoader MP 1.8.1
TooManyItems (does not appear to be active...console shows it loading but the GUI does not show up) 6-30-2011
SinglePlayerCommands 1.8.1
And, of course, LittleBlocks 1.3
Confirmed mod incompatibilities:
OptiFine 1.8.1 Makes blocks inside LBBs invisible.

Imagine being "godzilla" in Broville!
There is one thing tho:
Immediately after I place the redstone there the game crashes.

do you have optifine? - this is the reason - i used a backup before and after(optifine) and installed this - it makes blocks invisable
Did you not see what it did to Redstone.....ZOMG! complex circuits, compressed in such a lil space... I can think of many uses.
