LittleBlocks is a mod that allows you to polish up your creativity and optimize your redstone systems. Indeed, the size of blocks placed in a little blocks is divided by eight compared to its original size, so you can place 512 blocks instead of one.
Although the mod is a nice addition I don't suppose it's possible to easily add a scaling option so instead of 1/512 sized block you could make the block any size but still have it fallow the same small grid pattern for placement.
Small blocks are normal blocks but in a Little blocks block. I don't think it is easily understandable but idk how to explain it better.

One block is 1m3 (1m*1m*1m), little blocks are 1/512m3 (1/8m*1/8m*1/8m).
