See my post on the previous page (near the end, with the ZIP archive and description of the included files), for the normal chests (in the zip file, there are files for both the Original Chests and Full Blocks mods, for the Faithful 32x32 texture pack). I didn't do the Ender Chest nor the other blocks, though, and it would be more difficult to do, as the texture is far more complex, and there is no old 1x1m textures for it to serve as a base... You can try resizing the current pictures, but it will be a bit blurry...
I'll try to make a tutorial in the next few weeks, if no one else plans to do one, but no promise.
From my post on the previous page: "Like many others, I wanted the old chests back the first time I saw the new ones I don't mind the sound (it's a good feedback, and it can be useful in SMP to know others are opening chests close by), or the 3D lock, but the smaller size breaks everything visually (empty spaces everywhere, can't put pressure plates on them because of this -now forbidden anyway...-, etc.), and while I don't mind the opening animation, it clips with a lot of things... (e.g., sign/torch on the wall, pressure plates if there was no empty space under it -again, now forbidden anyway...-, etc.). And beside this, this is Minecraft, in which we stuff our chests with stacks and stacks of the most various items... smaller chests feels just frustrating...".
You cannot ignore either so easily the argument that one essential characteristic of Minecraft is precisely the 1x1m blocks (of course I have nothing against slabs, stairs, and various other blocks not being 1x1m, but contrarily to the newer chests, they integrate very well in this 1x1m-resolution world...).
Some people used the old chests as flooring too. Or had redstone or other things hidden behind.
Of course, it's part personal opinion (and OCD). And one of the beauty of Minecraft is precisely the large modding community, to satisfy mostly everyone. Said otherwise, in well-known terms: if you don't like it, just ignore it, and do go about your own life (considering of course that in this case it does not cause any single real problem for anyone to enable back this possibility of 1x1m chests, and many people appreciate it, and your post does not contain specific arguments to fuel a constructive debate).
I think I'll try to gather all these arguments in favor of the older chests, for the topic first post, if Buck agrees. Should be useful too.
Thanks for the help man! You couldn't of said that better then you did and I agreed with you!
when i think about it, that mod is a good mod to start off with cas all u have to do is get the files from the old minecraft and swap it with the file from the new minecraft, it all makes sence!

Yeah technically but every update usually breaks something so I have to redo the code to fix it...the Full Blocks Mod is the only exception!
Would like to ask to. What files are about chest and enderchest only?? I only want openable chests.
If you only want the chests in the Full Blocks Mod then only use the arj.class, arq.class, and chest textures from the items folder...this is only for version 1.3.2!
The full blocks really need their own texture files since I am using a texture pack already updated for 1.4 and it conflicts with the carrot and potato textures.
I know me and my buddy are working on a new and improved Full Blocks Mod...over time your problem will be solved!

Keep it up Buck! I like what you're doing!
