I was tired of all the mods with automatic crafting requiring loads of other things to work, or being outdated. Automatic workbench is outdated and edited base classes, buildcraft requires the other factory blocks and pipes and Minecraft forge (I HATE it, due to no optifine compatibility). This mod aims to satisfy the industrial needs of the avid minecraft builder without huge amounts of extra stuff around it.
The only requirement is ModLoader. DO NOT FORGET TO INSTALL IT
To use the automatic workbench, right-click it to open the crafting gui. Place in items for the correct recipe and DON'T remove the item from the output slot (it's there just to check you put in the right recipe). When provided with a pulse, the automatic workbench will check one block inventory next to it (including diagonal, block inventory is anything with storage so chests, dispensers, allocators, etc.), remove the required resources from it and place the crafted item(s) in it. Here is the crafting recipe:
Here is an example of how to lay out multiple workbenches around a chest:
I'm using Forge and HD textures as we speak. What's the problem? No, I did not install anything special, I just made sure to use the HD texture patcher AFTER installing Forge.

I meant optifine + minecraft forge :tongue.gif: lemme rewrite it

Hello.
I'd like to install this mod, but adfly doesn't work for me. Can you use mediafire?
I am resurrecting this thread, because I would like to request that this mod be updated. It might not need to be. I am about to test it for 1.1. I hope it works.
It did not work. Hopefully someone out there will be willing to repair it. I wish I knew how to mod myself; since I would like a simple automatic workbench mod, which did not require a massive list of dependencies, or install large numbers of other things that I don't necessarily want.
