A duplication\transportation bug was discovered in a thread on the FTB forums, the Iron Tanks store their liquid level when blueprinted and will recreate any liquid in the tank when the builder builds the tank. Not sure if this one is a RC issue or a BC issue really but hey it's there. I just tested in 6.9.1.0 with fuel\creosote\biomass and the liquid level was recreated when the tank was built in all cases.
The Builder is completely broken, don't use it if you value your worlds.
Please, can you take a look at my pull request in the translation project? because you are releasing a lot of fixes but you are not including the translation fixes and compatibility with the newer versions of railcraft.
Thanks!

Do you have the Factory module installed? If so, then you can't go making rails on a regular crafting table; you need to make them on a Rolling Machine.

Maybe I am missing something, but I have been having a real hard time getting rails to cooperate in compact builds. The crowbar seems just about useless for fixing rail positing.
There are many things I have noticed; a steve carts' advanced detector rail takes complete priority for how a rail should connect to it. if I place it down, everything tries to connect every which way to it. Secondly switch tracks are incredibly funky about what way they face and it makes it incredibly difficult to adjust everything around it just so it can be positioned correctly. Third, booster tracks, boarding rails, etc all force their connecting rail to be a straight rather than a turn if placed afterwards.
All of this could be much easier if the crowbar would actually be able to change the orientation of the rail, not just the toggled function.

The way rails work (even in vanilla) does not lend themselves to compact builds. While I could let the Crowbar manipulate rail metadata, it would be rather pointless. The next block update would just reset the track meta to whatever RailLogic, the vanilla class that controls track placement, thinks it should be.
I'm using the latest release of Railcraft (6.9.2.0), and Forge 409. I had been heating a 1x1 boiler + solid fuel firebox in creative mode, and on a whim put a bucket of water inside. It had been heating across multiple load-save-play sessions since I'm making a texture pack, and I close frequently to test my changes. Now, I know you're not supposed to put water in an empty hot boiler, but I certainly wasn't expecting an NPE! A little more info:

Well, I hate to bother folks, but I've been beating my head against a wall on this for a couple hours. It started with the coke oven recognizing neither of the loaders, be it the item loader or liquid loader with version 5.4.4. So, I tried, 5.4.5, same problem, so I went up to 5.4.7, liquid loaders work properly, now, but the item loader still isn't pulling the solids out of the coke oven. I've tried placing it on the side oppossite the liquid loader, I've tried placing it on the bottom, same result, it's not pulling the solid items out of the coke oven.
So, now I have to ask, is there a special magical arrangement that must be done under the right alignment of the stars to get the coke ovens to output the solid and the liquids to two separate cars, like they did in the older versions?
On Edit: The item loader isn't loading anything, period, in addition to not pulling items from chests.
Solved the issue, only the Liquid Loaders work at 2 blocks above the tracks, regular item loaders must be one block above the tracks, so converting to Adv. Item loaders solved the alignment problem (Using powercraft conveyors and item decenders to load the chests at the loaders in my big factory.).
ok i got a problem here with railcraft. I am using the mods Buildcraft, Railcraft, TMI, and More explosives got pretty far along in my world, went to start building a rail system, to automate my slaughterhouse, when i noticed that when i put a minecart down to test out the system the minecart barely budged. It moved more like a tunnel bore, it goes then stops then starts again i tested out both the chest and furnace carts all three did the exact same thing with the partial exception of the furnace cart when i added fuel it would act slightly normal besides the fact it looked jumpy, also if im on a powered rail riding in a minecart the beginning sound a minecart makes gets repeated rapidly like it doesnt finish out the full length of the sound piece before restarting. it happens so fast it starts to sound like the computer is constantly having an error pop up then it will smooth out abit before repeating also while riding in the cart it acts as if its trying to go in two directions at the same time
i have the latest railcraft/forge downloaded so to see if the other mods was interfering i removed buildcraft first tested again got the same results. removed explosives mod still same results. so i made another instance (using multimc) installed the latest forge and railcraft again no other mods tested got the same results i also removed TMI and it didn't help
for the most part the rest of the mod works fine far as i can tell, though i havnt used all the features just yet
any help would be appreciated, also in advance i will say this that im no coder/programmer nor do i have experience editing any config files so i haven't messed with any of the settings

Smack them with a crowbar, the heavy cart is a side effect of making them solid. Hmm...I should make that a config option.

Bug Report:
Rolling Machine constantly drains power while idle when connected to a Thermal Expansion redstone energy conduit network.
Tested using the FTB Magic World pack with Railcraft 6.9.1.0 and Thermal Expansion 2.0.9.
I had a large array of just about all MJ-consuming machines hooked up to a redstone cell via conduits. When all machines sat idle, the cell was still losing power (slowly; about 1 MJ per 2 seconds). I started breaking and replacing machines one by one while observing the redstone cell. As soon as I broke the rolling machine, the energy drain stopped. Placing it back down resulted in the issue reappearing.
Afterwards I tested with only the rolling machine, a conduit and a cell, and was able to reproduce the error.

I found a bug! After I set the recipes.ic2.use.steel setting to true it's still impossible to use steel to create a Heat Vent.
What is a Heat Vent? It probably doesn't use the Ore Dictionary entry for Reinforced Iron, which all that setting does is add Steel to the Reinforced Iron entry.

Blame RichardG, don't ask why, just know its his fault.
I'll post a hotfix soon.

A blast furnace uses air, usually provided through a bellows or so. but is not present here for simplicity.
What about an upgrade option. A bellows and possible preheater to increase efficiency and thus fuel consumption on it?
Maybe even transportable though pipes and fed in the bottom of the blast furnace?
Also a question about the recipe. Can there be an alternative to blaze powder? I have a hard time finding a nether fortress to get a spawner.

it happens so fast it starts to sound like the computer is constantly having an error pop up then it will smooth out abit before repeating also while riding in the cart it acts as if its trying to go in two directions at the same time
i have the latest railcraft/forge downloaded so to see if the other mods was interfering i removed buildcraft first tested again got the same results. removed explosives mod still same results. so i made another instance (using multimc) installed the latest forge and railcraft again no other mods tested got the same results i also removed TMI
and it didn't help
for the most part the rest of the mod works fine far as i can tell, though i havnt used all the features just yet
any help would be appreciated, also in advance i will say this that im no coder/programmer nor do i have experience editing any config files so i haven't messed with any of the settings
Smack them with a crowbar, the heavy cart is a side effect of making them solid. Hmm...I should make that a config option.
The other thing is a vanilla bug.
Afterwards I tested with only the rolling machine, a conduit and a cell, and was able to reproduce the error.
but least now i can get them going abit easier thanks covert
Not a bug.
What is a Heat Vent? It probably doesn't use the Ore Dictionary entry for Reinforced Iron, which all that setting does is add Steel to the Reinforced Iron entry.
Guess I'll demount my rolling machines when I'm not using them from now on... or put them behind some kind of circuit breaker.
