But the little scream he let out when he saw the Weeping Angel off the Statue Pedestal and behind the guy in the video was priceless. xD

Greetings!! I've been contemplating using this mod, but I would like to ask: Do they go back into the Stone-state if you can trick two into looking at each other? Because that would be neat. Also, do the Lines of Sight of other mobs affect it? Overall, it looks like it would be a grand mod, but I just wanna know if I can trick them into eternal Stone-ness.

One day I'll get it working. Only Players affect the angels. Mobs and other entities cause it to bug out.

So I downloaded the mod, but I'm having issues with it. The Entity ID seems to conflict with Divine RPG. Is there any way to resolve the issue? The Angels work fine, but it looks like a dang paratika.

Ok, i recently made a bukkit server with a couple of my friends, we all love Doctor who and wanted this on the server! I was a little disappointed when i saw that this didn't have a server plugin... Can you please make one??? I love the mod in single player, and it would be awesome in multiplayer!

I use MCPC Plus. I lets you use Bukkit Plugins and Forge Mods. It works well with Weeping Angels, but you do have to play with the spawn rate in the config folder on the server.
If ANYONE else is having this mod with the DivineRPG one and have the Angels look like Paratiku's, a guy named Skidoodle found how to fix it. What he said on DivineRPG post:
Ugh, I reported this to the Weeping Angels developer, and he never fixed it. It's entirely his fault.
As a workaround, rename the weeping angels zip to something like "WeepingAngels.zip" so it'll be loaded after.
(If you're curious as to the cause, weeping angels get loaded first with the first available entity ID, (something like 5) and then divine RPG later overwrites that-- reversing the load order fixes it, but weeping angels shouldn't be ignoring the cfg file)

I really wanna feel fear above all others....alas...I am having trouble
I put the Mod in and created a world....I can tell you i was very worried left and right I may be attacked at any moment but even after a few hours worth of game time....Not even one Angel came to greet me with that bit of fear i looked forward to...
I thought perhaps something went wrong and they just couldn't spawn...I used and egg and even a spawner....THEY SPAWNED!...so i had a feeling perhaps it was some kind of spawner only mob....I still havent found 1 but am still hoping i may find one...
But that is not the major issue...
I decided i wanted them to spawn so instead of the 2% i changed it to 10% and a chance of 4 .... none still and i kept it night went into Hardcore(Creative toggle) and alas.... still none...
I thought well lets c what happens if i put it up at 30% with the chance of 4 spawning.....none still....perhaps they dont spawn in HC i figured...I had spawned one as I said from an egg before and it teleported me into ROCK so i thought perhaps they were disabled for HC... Yeah wasnt fun i lost the world but it didnt matter for it was a just fun world till i wante dto record the horror of my travels...but the 30% wasnt working....sure enough i got furious...I WANTED TO watch me back at all time!....
SO I BOOSTED IT TO 60% and with 8 spawning perhaps i would finally get some spawning....I was in Survival on Hard and still after about an hour of flying around I could not find any!....
200%(or at least 200 chance points i guess maybe ti was not actual %) and with 10 I felt i should be knee deep in Teleport Teleport Teleport Teleport....none? This suddenly concerned me as to why i wasn't able to find even one...
I just couldn't understand...was I doing something wrong....I mean i know they render and what not so it couldn't be that...but then again...I wasn't finding any spawning.
Lastly perhaps the 10 was the % granted i would think 10% with 200 spawning would be insane XD...so why not...100 with 200...still none
So I Figured I should ask you unless possibly someone else has the answer...though shouldn't...
So I did decide to Cancel out some of the other mods I placed in ones that spawned different mobs:
MoCreatures
Twilight Forest
Dungeon Mobs
and
Extrabiomesxl
so it was all standard
and with 200 by 100 !!!!! it overroad almost all hostile mobs XD mostly only they spawned and it was freaky seeing that
So through process of Elimination I deduced it was MoCreatures that inferiored....and even tried using other ID's I am wondering though...
What about MoCreatures is causing this? Is it that CustomMobSpawner that is needed along side of it cause i was really looking forward to playing an HC that had 2 mobs that could instantly Kill a player even in Full Quantium Armor XD The Cockatrice from DungeonMob and Weeping angels cause they can spawn ya in the ground I did find out which was very disturbing but fun XD.
as I said I did try the ID thing of course but yeah Kinda bummed I would of thought it could be since I can't find an ID that conflicts and the game didn't freeze up or anything....Might you know the reason?

Hope you may have an answer but if don't or not willing to answer a question such as this...understandable... I know some mod designers that don't like their mods mixed with other mods...heck answer just might be just too many MobID's used XD That is alot of mobs XD...but since custommobspawner or mocreatures aren't yours you may not know the issue or be far less willing to answer...but just curious if you may know....its cool if you dont answer of course
If I understand the workings, custom mob spawner overrides standard spawning procedures. If this is the case, then Custom Mob Spawner knows nothing about Weeping angels or how its Angel spawning should be handled? If this is untrue, someone who knows should correct me.

When you did all your testings, did you do it at night time? During my gameplay, I've noticed the Angels don't tend to spawn normally during the day and chase you, but when nightfall arrives, they go after you like flies on garbage(No offense meant. :P).
I tend to go into Creative mode to test out some large structures, and I usually begin to have them on my butt by the first night, sometimes the 2nd or third nights. If I were you, I would just try and use Creative mode to do a lengthy project that spans multiple Minecraft days in order to see if it truly does work.(I stay on the default spawn rate of 2%)
Additionally, I've noticed that constantly moving from place to place is a surefire way to keep them from finding you, since it requires more on their part to go after you. If you play a survival game like so, it makes it so that you never know when an Angel will get you.(In all of my testings with the Angels, I've found they're far scarier when you don't know where they are, as then they could get you from anywhere.)

Yes of course it is true night is a friend but Day is also a friend!(perhaps their Light level is more like Blazes) and as I did mention in my post once i took out the Mocreatures Out of nowhere the normal spawn rate of almost all other(at least hostile) mobs were overriden when i had 200% spawn rate. There were 2 reasons I had actually gone as extreme as I had...
First off if you haven't noticed even in Creative the Mob wants you bad. They will turn, and progress towards you if you are even 50 blocks away(not sure the highest distance but 50 is brilliant XD) at 40 blocks if your looking at them they suddenly notice you are and stop moving. I am of course guessing their Sight is much more extreme than other mobs....that I noticed through not having Mo's Creatures. It implied to me after hours of playing HC...was recording but if after so long not even 1 showed up it kinda bummed me out. It just might not be compatible.
2nd and yes as I said day is a friend I spent a very large portion of time flying around, standing in one spot, and of course during the starting world I wasn't spending a huge amount of time away from home. Nighttime was of course also explored greatly too. It could be just be a fact they just arent compatible possibly with the custommobspawner... I may set MC on a 24/7 non-movement test for perhaps they were spawning but even at 200% I would of figured I would see one flying around closer to the ground looking at most groups of mobs partly by another mod that adds a Minimap.
and a last point...I have played the game for a fair few years so I do understand many of the mechanics... I thank ya for your comment but little to worry about that aspect...but yes I will consider a 24/7 non-movement test. Perhaps there is a line or a few lines of code in say CustomMobSpawner other Mob Mods are using... thought this is the first I have had an issue with not breaking but If anything were to change I would gladly Post a Revision saying....oh i guess if it worked...the settings of the other mods OverRide the 2% as an example for that would be the only thing I can guess... from my 'too many hours' of testing and gameplay before I noticed something seemed wrong... which is why I did finally posted here. If it is incompatiblity maybe the Mod Designer(s) hadn't known such yet. at least 40 other mods I can tell you do work with Weeping Angels though cause those few I mentioned were not the only ones...but those were the only ones Logically that might interfere for the others didn't add Mobs...but of course itemID's I did look at too and none of them interfered so I didn't post this 'lightly'
Maybe the Mod Designer Might look into it but not expecting it... I just wanted to take HardCore to the next level of terror. Having 1 mob that can Kill you Instantly probably by minor teleport Error for I am sure the Weeping angels aren't suppose to Teleport you into Solid Rock....but there might of been a Single Block missing.....maybe there is a check the game wasn't able to make. If things weren't changed and I wouldn't expect them to....I just really wanted to have 2 mobs that could potentally kill a player instantly ending the HC with a bang XD. Anyways if nothing comes from either of the posts its all cool...
It could just be incompatiblity... and if is... at least it's known. I'll set the game to 24/7 now to see if I just got seriously unlucky XD and they had spawned...just weren't able to find me in the caves.
Just so I feel more clear there was one thing I didn't think to do....I took out Mocreatures again but this time left CustomMobSpawner in....along with DungeonMobs..... Weeping angels with the 200% are spawning like Wildfire.....So perhaps there was no issue.....I'll have to test the 24/7 thing now ....Ill do it on a Flat world as that would allow very fast results....maybe find out very fast....They may just not of been able to PathFind to me during the Nights, Sure Flatworld would verify everything

They behave exactly how the Weeping Angels should, but just aren't Angel models. I haven't a clue why the problem occurs.

Ugh, I reported this to the Weeping Angels developer, and he never fixed it. It's entirely his fault.
As a workaround, rename the weeping angels zip to something like "WeepingAngels.zip" so it'll be loaded after.
(If you're curious as to the cause, weeping angels get loaded first with the first available entity ID, (something like 5) and then divine RPG later overwrites that-- reversing the load order fixes it, but weeping angels shouldn't be ignoring the cfg file)

I seem to be having a problem...
I really wanna feel fear above all others....alas...I am having trouble
I put the Mod in and created a world....I can tell you i was very worried left and right I may be attacked at any moment but even after a few hours worth of game time....Not even one Angel came to greet me with that bit of fear i looked forward to...
I thought perhaps something went wrong and they just couldn't spawn...I used and egg and even a spawner....THEY SPAWNED!...so i had a feeling perhaps it was some kind of spawner only mob....I still havent found 1 but am still hoping i may find one...
But that is not the major issue...
I decided i wanted them to spawn so instead of the 2% i changed it to 10% and a chance of 4 .... none still and i kept it night went into Hardcore(Creative toggle) and alas.... still none...
I thought well lets c what happens if i put it up at 30% with the chance of 4 spawning.....none still....perhaps they dont spawn in HC i figured...I had spawned one as I said from an egg before and it teleported me into ROCK so i thought perhaps they were disabled for HC... Yeah wasnt fun i lost the world but it didnt matter for it was a just fun world till i wante dto record the horror of my travels...but the 30% wasnt working....sure enough i got furious...I WANTED TO watch me back at all time!....
SO I BOOSTED IT TO 60% and with 8 spawning perhaps i would finally get some spawning....I was in Survival on Hard and still after about an hour of flying around I could not find any!....
200%(or at least 200 chance points i guess maybe ti was not actual %) and with 10 I felt i should be knee deep in Teleport Teleport Teleport Teleport....none? This suddenly concerned me as to why i wasn't able to find even one...
I just couldn't understand...was I doing something wrong....I mean i know they render and what not so it couldn't be that...but then again...I wasn't finding any spawning.
Lastly perhaps the 10 was the % granted i would think 10% with 200 spawning would be insane XD...so why not...100 with 200...still none
So I Figured I should ask you unless possibly someone else has the answer...though shouldn't...
So I did decide to Cancel out some of the other mods I placed in ones that spawned different mobs:

so it was all standard
and with 200 by 100 !!!!! it overroad almost all hostile mobs XD mostly only they spawned and it was freaky seeing that
So through process of Elimination I deduced it was MoCreatures that inferiored....and even tried using other ID's I am wondering though...
What about MoCreatures is causing this? Is it that CustomMobSpawner that is needed along side of it cause i was really looking forward to playing an HC that had 2 mobs that could instantly Kill a player even in Full Quantium Armor XD The Cockatrice from DungeonMob and Weeping angels cause they can spawn ya in the ground I did find out which was very disturbing but fun XD.
as I said I did try the ID thing of course but yeah Kinda bummed I would of thought it could be since I can't find an ID that conflicts and the game didn't freeze up or anything....Might you know the reason?

Hope you may have an answer but if don't or not willing to answer a question such as this...understandable... I know some mod designers that don't like their mods mixed with other mods...heck answer just might be just too many MobID's used XD That is alot of mobs XD...but since custommobspawner or mocreatures aren't yours you may not know the issue or be far less willing to answer...but just curious if you may know....its cool if you dont answer of course

I would like to suggest Villager versions of the Angels as well.
When you did all your testings, did you do it at night time? During my gameplay, I've noticed the Angels don't tend to spawn normally during the day and chase you, but when nightfall arrives, they go after you like flies on garbage(No offense meant. :P).
I tend to go into Creative mode to test out some large structures, and I usually begin to have them on my butt by the first night, sometimes the 2nd or third nights. If I were you, I would just try and use Creative mode to do a lengthy project that spans multiple Minecraft days in order to see if it truly does work.(I stay on the default spawn rate of 2%)
Additionally, I've noticed that constantly moving from place to place is a surefire way to keep them from finding you, since it requires more on their part to go after you. If you play a survival game like so, it makes it so that you never know when an Angel will get you.(In all of my testings with the Angels, I've found they're far scarier when you don't know where they are, as then they could get you from anywhere.)

Yes of course it is true night is a friend but Day is also a friend!(perhaps their Light level is more like Blazes) and as I did mention in my post once i took out the Mocreatures Out of nowhere the normal spawn rate of almost all other(at least hostile) mobs were overriden when i had 200% spawn rate. There were 2 reasons I had actually gone as extreme as I had...
First off if you haven't noticed even in Creative the Mob wants you bad. They will turn, and progress towards you if you are even 50 blocks away(not sure the highest distance but 50 is brilliant XD) at 40 blocks if your looking at them they suddenly notice you are and stop moving. I am of course guessing their Sight is much more extreme than other mobs....that I noticed through not having Mo's Creatures. It implied to me after hours of playing HC...was recording but if after so long not even 1 showed up it kinda bummed me out. It just might not be compatible.
2nd and yes as I said day is a friend I spent a very large portion of time flying around, standing in one spot, and of course during the starting world I wasn't spending a huge amount of time away from home. Nighttime was of course also explored greatly too. It could be just be a fact they just arent compatible possibly with the custommobspawner... I may set MC on a 24/7 non-movement test for perhaps they were spawning but even at 200% I would of figured I would see one flying around closer to the ground looking at most groups of mobs partly by another mod that adds a Minimap.
and a last point...I have played the game for a fair few years so I do understand many of the mechanics... I thank ya for your comment but little to worry about that aspect...but yes I will consider a 24/7 non-movement test. Perhaps there is a line or a few lines of code in say CustomMobSpawner other Mob Mods are using... thought this is the first I have had an issue with not breaking but If anything were to change I would gladly Post a Revision saying....oh i guess if it worked...the settings of the other mods OverRide the 2% as an example for that would be the only thing I can guess... from my 'too many hours' of testing and gameplay before I noticed something seemed wrong... which is why I did finally posted here. If it is incompatiblity maybe the Mod Designer(s) hadn't known such yet. at least 40 other mods I can tell you do work with Weeping Angels though cause those few I mentioned were not the only ones...but those were the only ones Logically that might interfere for the others didn't add Mobs...but of course itemID's I did look at too and none of them interfered so I didn't post this 'lightly'
Maybe the Mod Designer Might look into it but not expecting it... I just wanted to take HardCore to the next level of terror. Having 1 mob that can Kill you Instantly probably by minor teleport Error for I am sure the Weeping angels aren't suppose to Teleport you into Solid Rock....but there might of been a Single Block missing.....maybe there is a check the game wasn't able to make. If things weren't changed and I wouldn't expect them to....I just really wanted to have 2 mobs that could potentally kill a player instantly ending the HC with a bang XD. Anyways if nothing comes from either of the posts its all cool...
It could just be incompatiblity... and if is... at least it's known. I'll set the game to 24/7 now to see if I just got seriously unlucky XD and they had spawned...just weren't able to find me in the caves.

Just so I feel more clear there was one thing I didn't think to do....I took out Mocreatures again but this time left CustomMobSpawner in....along with DungeonMobs..... Weeping angels with the 200% are spawning like Wildfire.....So perhaps there was no issue.....I'll have to test the 24/7 thing now ....Ill do it on a Flat world as that would allow very fast results....maybe find out very fast....They may just not of been able to PathFind to me during the Nights, Sure Flatworld would verify everything
