Lol i added the CCTV mod when i used this hoping it would help watch them, instead they just teleport it's scary i was watching the screen then one teleported through the screen it scared the crap out of me

Weeping Angel DISABLE TELEPORT CLASS FILE
***This is used to disable the weeping angel player teleportation ability

This mod adds the following creature to the game.

Mechanics:
This mob has a spawn rate of 5% (Rare).
The Weeping Angel will freeze when seen (includes other angels [update 1.2])(Within FOV (This FOV is locked to a specific value and does not change with minecraft options.. yet).
When not seen will run towards the player; various movement the creature make will be based on if it is aggroed or not and the distance between the player and creature.
When it is not day or the angel is in a cave with a light source, the angel will try to remove it to create darkness which enables the angel to attack and move towards the player even if the player is looking at the creature (Light level < 0). When the creature is looked at directly, the player will be de buffed which will last for a short period of time. This debuf will cause the player to walk slowly. (As if it has turned to stone)
A weeping angel has a 1 in 30 chance on hit of teleporting the player, when this happens on attack it will teleport the player in a 200 block radius; either above the ground or in a cave.
They can be killed by using a iron pickaxe (Normal difficulty) or a diamond pickaxe (Hard difficulty).
If you do not know what a Weeping Angel is you should be ashamed of yourself.

1. Close Minecraft.

Thank you for lowering the spawn rate! I've reinstalled the mod, and it's gone from being aggravating having to fight off around 7-10 per night, to the frightening experience I was hoping for. I'm finding myself looking over my shoulder everywhere I go now, even in the dayttime for fear there's one sneaking up behind me It's so creepy to be walking around and to turn and see one at a close distance behind me, obviously chasing me down for god knows how long. Exactly what I was hoping for in this mod!
Only thing I've noticed is I'm not hearing stone scrapping sounds when they move, but rather the normal walking on ground sounds everything else makes. I dunno if that was just error on my part when installing, but if not then I just thought I would point it out :tongue.gif: I do hear the crumbling sound when I kill them, so I have to imagine I have the audio installed correctly.

If you have 1.4, the audio sound files should be named stoneone, stonetwo, stonethree, stonefour; instead of stone1 ect.
This mod is amazing. The only problem with this mod is the only other way to stop a Weeping Angel. Make them freeze if any other living thing sees them, including the angels themselves.

angels move even when seen thro glass and vines.
i couldnt get the angel looking at another angel to work one had its hands down and the other was out then when they were both showing their faces still didnt work even tho it looked like they were hugging
if the angels could point at the lights before distroying them that would be awesome
angels spawn in groups of up to 6 that ive seen in the desert at night
the range before they start move at you seems short like i was looking at one about 15-20 blocks away it would only uncover its eyes but when i started to walk away it followed me
it would be awesome if there was an option in the minecraft jar. or somthing to tweak their speed or blocks teleported or detection range etc.
if you were wearing a pumpkin on your head the black spots on the screen would be considered not visible so they can move.
if they were looking at each other (i dont know if they already do ) but they wouldnt despawn or teleport away to get to you so i can set them up in my house lol
