In the sight of any living thing they literally turn to stone, and you can't kill a stone. Then you get a pickaxe, then you get a jackhammer, and oh yes you can.
The XXX part means the version number infront of the file's name. So in other words the file you would be looking for is 146-157WeepingAngels.zip, the 146 being the Minecraft Version, and the 157 being the version of the mod... "-.-(\
No pickaxe? Weeping angels attacking? NO PROBLEM! Simply look at him and dig a hole under him so that he falls in, and bury him in sand! This works great.

They don't die of suffocating.... And they teleport

The twilight warrior.
Master of darkness and light, bound to no element, this entity is ruthless, cruel, but fair, when he looks at you he sees your whole soul, and if your heart is tipped to the darkness, or to the light, run, and hope he doesn't think you're worthy....

There is only 3 ways to kill Weeping Angel... Dropping them into a Crack in Space and Time, Hitting them with a Pickaxe till the crumble, or Dropping them in the Void (which is just as effective as dropping them in a Crack in Space and Time surprisingly! :D).
Also, here is something that some Doctor Who fans might get:

Nice reference.
Not wishing to sound like a noob but how did you change the name, or is it faked with a paint package?
Nice little Japanese mod called EveryBodysNameTag that adds a Craftable "NameTag" item into Minecraft... Of course it cost some level to use (about 5) as you need to rename it in the Anvil first before you can rename the Mob(s), but after words you simple right-click (or left-click) to rename the mob. :3 I got it because it works with the LittleMaidsMob mod (simply putting the "NameTag" in their inv and it displays the name.), but decided to test it with other mobs... Seems not to work with Squids and Pigmen, but that is all I noticed so far.
I'm really not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but I thought I'd bring it up.
This mod used to use the ID in the config file to generate the register the weeping angel entity, it now appears to use ModLoader.getUniqueEntityId(). Due to the name of the mod "###-###WeepingAngels.zip" it also tends to be loaded first, meaning that getUniqueEntityId() returns some low number such as 3.
This can cause some problems, as another mod might use that ID, completely messing up the mod. (DivineRPG for an example)
If this happens to you, or you find an entity spawning in place of angels, simply rename the this mod to something like "z###-###WeepingAngels.zip"
Please add the ability for angels to put out xycraft torches (sulfur and aluminum torches)
Maybe a config entry to add new torch id's?
This is the code that ElementalCreepers use on the Dark Creeper to see if a block is as bright or brighter than a redstone torch. Maybe use it to solve this problem with mod torches.
We can't help you if you don't give us the Crash Report. -.-"
Added to my server... epic
Awesome mod!

This is the one you will need for the latest version.

here is my mod review of this mod. Keep it up man!
Use the program called Techne, it's a Modeling program for Minecraft.
And there is alot of mods that adds "Golems"... o.o But that doesn't mean they may be the same as you are planning...

Edit: Nevermind lol I guess I AM blind. Found it. Amazing mod!
Maybe a config entry to add new torch id's?
Waiting for that already...
