This mod does not like the zombie dismemberment mod. Can you add a config for it so we can choose which mobs it will show the health for?
Considering that this mod modify a function in "RenderLiving" class, there is 2 possibilities to make "showhealth" not working for some mobs : 1 - When mobs aren't render by "RenderLiving" class, 2 - when a mod uses a special render that prevent the function in RenderLiving to print out the Health.
In my opinion... I suppose that if the source codes will be finaly available for the game and mods, a kind of standard will emerge and make possible a configuration file to select which mobs or kinds of mobs are allowed to show you their health information, in decimal or as a percent bar (can't do a bar because at the moment there is no way to know the max health information from any mobs). So, maybe in the future, when Minecraft will be in its final form and when modders will agree into a standard for mobs, a configuration file will be possible, and it even could make this "showhealth" mod here unnecessary in the process.
I was curious if there was a 1.1 version of this that you took the download link off, I have the minecraft profile manager and one of the profiles i have is still 1.1 because almost none of the mods i have on there have been updated, in fact most of them said they are taking time off from modding, (such as tale of kingdoms) and i was wondering if you had a 1.1 version of this, or if you had time could downgrade to 1.1, if not thats fine, but if you could that would be awesome
Edit: i also attempted to use this on that 1.1 profile, i knew it wouldnt work, but i thought id try
Also, this mod doesn't show the correct hp for mobs in smp, its stuck on their max hp like for skeles its stays at 20 until it dies.
Hope you can fix this bro

Well it's the way Minecraft deals with mobs' health info in Survival Multiplayer servers since it's no more beta, the health and damage calculation is done on the server instead and so the client application doesn't update the health info. So it's not the mod fault, it's Minecraft source code fault. To change that, it will need to make modifications to be like in beta version of Minecraft... sorry
