I said I don't like Minecraft's community in general, it's not (most of) the people in this topic. It's what I see on the rest of this forum, Reddit, PlanetMinecraft, FeedTheBeast, Tekkit, etc, etc.
Why do you take them so seriously? and Why don't you imagine that there are tons of people who support by downloading the mod?
AntVenom showcased this mod once which means he likes it, but also there were tons of positive comments about this mod there.
I'm not saying I don't know of their existence. They are the signal. But there are for example a lot of people that don't realize how much time and effort a mod takes and just blatantly ask for an update. Again, signal to noise.
The way I see it. This will open up opportunities for other people to experiment with the concept of the mod and bring their ideas to the table.
That sucks, TurboSlow. I've seen too many good modders driven to honey badger status for the same exact reason. I remember one of the best mods for Skyrim went dark because of this reason.
As for you not playing minecraft anymore... I can see it getting very stale for the committed players, although that isn't me. Happy trails!

I don't know if Minecraft is getting that stale on me. It's got more to do with the way Mojang is going with it.
I love games where you can create things. I used to play games like Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Revolt and Time Splitters all the time. It's the reason why I love programming.

1 - I'm done with Minecraft, having played it since alpha 1.1.2_01. I've experienced everything this game has to offer. Since Minecraft was released (end of beta) it has become way too diluted for its simple outset. Almost everything that has been released since is just content and no new gameplay experiences. Every time I play I get irritated by the amount of lost potential and it makes me want to create a complete overhaul mod, though I simply don’t see that happening.
2 - The community. The immature, the trolls, the griefers, etc. This community is full of them and they’re ruining it for the rest of us. Now I get it, I like to let loose and have a laugh every once in a while myself. But the amount of stupidity on display is just cringe worthy. The signal to noise ratio is too low and finding good quality content is difficult.

No. As of this post Advanced Hud is public domain, meaning it’s yours to do with as you wish. I won’t release the source though, as I’d rather have someone experienced working on the mod. Also my code shouldn’t be used as training material as it contains a ton of bad habits. Hurry up though, as I’ll be taking the downloads offline next month (June 30th)

I was simply wondering because I hadn't seen any post from you since April 12 and giving that version 1.5.2. was released on may 2nd I was wondering if you were going to update it. I guess I got my answer, I'm honestly sorry if I irritated you by asking about it, it really wasn't my intention to push you into it, rather know if you were willingly going to do it.

i never got to use it because i only started modding in 1.5.2 and was on 1.5 snapshots while 1.4.7 was going on.

It still makes me upset that this mod is in current limbo. Ever since the update to the 1.5 redstone, I've been waiting for this update almost exclusively. Most other mods I could live without, but this one? It was honestly the centerpiece.
i really hope u can find another person for this mod, ive used this one in the past and completey LOVED it. i was really upset when i found out that this may be the last time i was able to use this mod. i really hope u can find the get up and go for this again, i know how programing can be ive spent some time around a whole room full of some of my best friends who do that sort of thing and know how spazz'n it can get. i also know where your coming from with the "trolls" as u put it. well i just hope we can use this awesome mod with latter updates of the game as well as 1.5.2.

And takes too long as you have to update a lot of interfaces, and add the new ones to move, for example the scoreboards, and that's not easy at all.
