With the permission of markoman, you'll be pleased to hear that I have created new Better Sprinting! And great news is, that it IS compatible with most of the mods like optifine! Download it here, there are three tweaks and one of them is Better Sprinting.

I rate this mod a 20 out of 20
1. does it require ModLoader? If it doesn't, I'm getting the mod no matter what! Unless... you say "No" to the next question
2. can you update it to the snapshots... that may be a little too much to ask, but can you at least update it to 1.2.5? It looks amazing!
I have not used this in years. If you cringe at my comments, keep in mind I was about 9 when I made most of them :^)
