I just wanted to say I've really been enjoying this mod! Sure there are a couple spell mods out there, but I like the spells better with this one. Most importantly SMP, ftw! For me, that made it a no-brainer choice.
Working great in SSP and SMP! We've really had a blast playing SMP.
Also Thx for having Snow trick put out fires. I uhhh, tried thunder squall right outside my house and......well; Immediately ran to get snow trick to put out the fire in my trees, :ohmy.gif:.
Lastly, I think the item / recipe cost is just fine. It's nice to have to work a bit to get all the spells!

I was just playing it and I wondered whether you might consider a spell GUI, as casting the spells as icons is a little awkward and ugly.
You might be able to talk to someone who has done something similar, but this is just a suggestion, good modding.
I've also noticed that if the Godstone shares an ID with another mod item, it'll overwite it, and the recipe used to craft the previous item, will make a godstone instead!

Yeah, I always try out other magic mods and none of them give me as much fun stuff to do as this one. I kind of wish the damage spells were a bit more powerful and I'd like to have some "demolition" grade spells (I want to be that wizard that nukes the offending mountain) but besides that this is probably my most used mod.
I'll be looking forward to 7.0!
Wanted to add another +1 for this being a great mod!! I'll be curious to see what all is new.

1. Right-clicking the runestone, and you can start store your mana
2. Trader rune + any skill => Double skill!!

Good luck on your mid-terms! This is looking really cool, I'm enjoying the new charge system. Though once again I will end up with more redstone dust than I know what to do with XD.
1) Is there anyway to "release" the charge? In case I don't want to walk around all the time glowing with the little spheres around me (though the graphic is cool!)
edit: Huh, so you can "Charge up" instead of using runes and then when you run out it uses the runes. It seems like overkill to me. Perhaps tone down the number of runes generated per recipe? Otherwise I will never ever run out of magic.

I've read the past couple of pages and the OP, and I just want to confirm, this latest v7.0 is for Minecraft 1.1, yes? Not the latest Minecraft 1.2.3 version?
My apologies if I missed something. As far as I know, I haven't seen modders still putting stuff out for 1.1 instead of turning their attention to 1.2.3 so I was a bit unsure and figured it couldn't hurt to ask in the off chance the Minecraft version numbers in the OP and Thread title hadn't been updated yet.
This mod looks interesting so I'd like to check it out if it's available for Minecraft 1.2.3.
not too big of a deal but the new mana storage wont work on server, whenever i rightclick the rune the server crashes because it cant cast the orb entity leader to lx
