Greetings,
I just started modding and this is what I've been able to do so far. The ore Cycloneium has no lore, it is basically just based off of my nickname but I hope that you will find this mod great anyways. Keep in mind that this is a work in progress mod and it will advance as my skills in modding do. Let me know what you think and how I can improve this mod in progress. Also if you know of any good modloader tutorials that go beyond what ive done, let me know.

I am new to this so let me know how I can do this better or if it doesn't work at all.
Note: The file is orignaly called CloneCraft shortened from CyCLONEiumCraft I just didn't want people to think this was a mod about cloning.
Install:
Install Modloader first! Modloader Here!
Copy all files from CloneCraft 1.8.1 to your minecraft jar file
Make sure to delete meta inf
There should be no incompatibilities whatsoever, so let me know if something goes wrong.
Features:
This mod adds:
1 new ore
4 new tools (didn't feel like making a ho)
2 new ingots
1 new plate item (just for crafting)
and a whole set of armor!
Cycloneium ore glows at a 0.5 light level and is common fairly deep (level 30 and down).
Cycloneium ores drops Cycloneium shards which can be put in a furnace to make ingots.
You cannot make tools with just ingots however, that would be too easy seeing how common cycloneium is.
you must first make a reinforced ingot using 6 cycloneium ingots and 3 diamond. This makes 2 reinforced ingots.
I = cycloneium ingot
D = Diamond
III
DDD = Reinforced Cycloneium Ingot
III
Tools are made normally with Reinforced ingots in place of iron or diamond. (but there is no ho, just pick, ax, sword, and spade) It is a high cost, but it is worth it! with about 3900 uses and a fast mining speed, these tools will give a good performance and last you a while as well.
Cycloneium Armor can be made with Cycloneium plates. Currently it has the same specifics of Diamond armor but and the set allows water breathing(thanks @Strengthowns). Cycloneium plates are made from Cycloneium ingots. 6 Ingots gives you two plates.
II
II = plate
II
Armor can be made the same with with plates in place of iron or diamond.
PICTURES:
Pictured with Diamond Block and material detector mod (forgot to turn that off)
Cycloneium Plate Not shown (forgot about it)
Planned:
Harvester of stone dirt and ores (tools that let you collect doubble from non player placed blocks)
Special Abilities for the Cycloneium armor (waterbreating done)
??? help me out here what else would you like to see that is related?
very nice i mean usually when someone add a mod like this all it is is a copy of the armor and minerals but you actually changed the armor texture implemented a special ability for it and made it so you actually have to work for the better then diamond tools very nice.
Thanks, more to come. I may be on to something really good to add here but figuring out how it works is the hardest part. This mod is going to be a lot of stuff mostly the bi-product of what tutorials teach me, but I will try and make it as unique as I possibly can.
