Currently it should be able to recognize swords from other mods, as long as they are implemented using mincrafts prewritten itemsword class, but if its a whole new item it won't. Likewise it currently won't accept other types of arrows or bows, but that would be possible to add as long as they follow the same implementation described above.

Lava buckets please?at least that.maybe if the redstone is powered and he is on patrol mode then he has unlimited fuel or something?also, I think version 2.0 calls for a removal of the [WIP] tag...

Right now I'm thinking of having a gold/redstoney one that recharges and doesn't require you to keep giving it fuel, and I might allow more fuel types in the iron/coal one but I'm not sure about that just yet. I think having it have unlimited fuel while on a powered redstone wire could be too op, but it could work.

Very cool mod. Goes very well with the IndustrialCraft game I have going right now. Can't wait for the gold golem and the recharging station. Perfect for sentry duty.

Yea, but as far as I can tell I can't guarantee it will always be compatible with all other mods unless there's a way to have modloader assign it an arbitrary ID based off all the others in use, but I have yet to see that as a possibility

like.. for example will only open a door when he goes around a patrol area?
like so he can make sure the area is safe then the door opens =)?
