I meant today (10/6) since I posted that last night in my time zone, but it's looking like it'll be pushed back a bit. I keep getting weird behavior in game that's different than the code says and how it runs in my pre-obfuscated emulator ><
Could you change the Golems Id? I'm using Simple Npc's to,but an item from that overwrites the Golem.
Ideally I'll find a way to have modloader set it to an unused one, but I have yet to figure out how to do that. It's not easy to pick an id and know it will be compatible with other mods ^^;

Is it SMP compatible? This would really be a cool thing for the server I'm playing on, and I think most people will agree.
Second, more of a suggestion than a question; I think this presents a really cool possibility for undead things. Bone golems, flesh golems, etc. Have clay be used too, to make clay golems. Or wood golems, stone golems, things like that.
Variety would make this mod amazing, especially given the ability to have them patrol. Bravo for being creative, man.

Variety would make this mod amazing, especially given the ability to have them patrol. Bravo for being creative, man.
Currently it isn't built for smp, but if you know a way of making normally ssp mods work then it might.
I plan to have different types of golems, but was more thinking being made of other types of armor.

nice mod so far. But it seems that redstone patroling dont work like in your video. I included it and set up a new world. Then i created a golem and made a redstone path. But he seems confused about this. he attempt to go the path, but then struggles and move in circles.
Any ideas, whats up with it?

I'm not sure why, but I've had that happen sometimes too. I was hoping it was fixed with this version, but I guess not. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as I can, but you should be able to get him onto the path by pushing/hitting him onto it.
Not sure what you mean by that, if you mean change the size of the golem then that's possible but seems like an odd thing to add

Yes, that's what I meant.

That'll come in 3.0 when I add multiple golems/armor

I mostly just wanted bone golems because I like undead things :tongue.gif:
And I'm not much of a programmer, but I can check with people who might know more than me about getting this to SMP! :biggrin.gif:
