Wow I love this mod! But I would like to make a few suggestions. Would you maybe make it possible to access a folder of skins in game via menu for quick and easy skin changing along with the option to download the other person's skin and add it to that folder (just like advanced gui's in game texture pack changing option). Aw, I can only make a permanant switch once before I have to leave the server/game. Quite disappointing. It begins the process of switching me back to my default skin (not the default skin, my default skin) and then gives up and goes back to the skin I took.

This mod seems very fun to use.
However when I try to permanently set a skin with my correct user name and password it relogs in with the "Incorrect username or password?"
Does this mod try to access threw the internet, better speaking, do I need to set a firewall exception?

every time i try to change my skin permently it says incorrect username and password and its correct and im using this mod because i cant change my skin on minecraft.net

If I'm in Multiplayer, but I'm using a cracked client, will this mod still work to make the skin visible to others?

EDIT 3: Nope, still doesn't work. I mean, I can now permanently change my skin without a crash, but no one else can see it

What exactly do you have to do to get others to see a skin? Does it have something to do with the username/password thing at the bottom?

I don't really understand, why this thread is not removed by a moderator.

Stealing someones custom made skin is clearly illegal under the copyright law. Anyone who creates his own skin is protected by copyright, even if it's nowhere to read!

Even if the Skinthief mod itself is not illegal, it simplifies illegal use of custom skins.

So why then are only mod pack threads closed, if the creators of the mods where not asked about using the mod?

Mods that make it so easy to steal creative content should not be supported in a serious forum.

Did the Minecraft forum become a leecher forum, nowadays???
