I am going to update it & make it open source but Wrsford has lost access to the source code so I have to manually obtain it from the mod by decompiling (if it isn't obfuscated).
So it'll probably take a while? :/
Also, when it is back, would the trees grow with modded blocks? I've got Project Red installed, and it's added Ruby, Sapphire, and Peridot blocks, and I think they'd look nice as trees, among other blocks from other mods. Or will it only work on vanilla blocks without adding support for those mods?
If someone wants me to update this, say the word, and maybe get the permissions for for me, and maybe I will.
I'm sorry for double-posting, but I'm making an update to this so, I guess it's fine?
Anyway, I got permission to update this mod. Check his twitter account, and see the replies he made. He should have said something towards "Master_801". If you don't believe me, go look. But, just take my word for it.
is version 1.2.5 the same as 1.6.4? and if me and my friend are playing does he have to download the server version or is it only for the server?
-snip-
No, it is not. The mod version correspond to the actual Minecraft version.
I plan on updating this mod, but unfortunately I've hit a road when de-compiling the code. When huge-saplings are being planted, they turn into dirt, and not logs and leaves. I don't know why, but I'll ask the author some more about it.
master! could it actually be that it hurts you to see any kind of outdated mod?
Nice to see you here anyways
Looking forwards to excessive wood farming again. Thanks for working on this Maybe I'll look into the code too, just to know hot it works you know? ;D

Actually it does. Kye_Duo actually told me about this mod while I was in my deep boredom stage. On the plus side, I actually have a changed the mechanics quite a bit. You have to craft the huge sapling by using eight bonemeal blocks, and some kind of sapling (not working!). In the end, you only get one huge sapling. But that's kinda expected since this mod can just be exploitable by a lot. (Diamond blocks for the leaves, and wood.)
Besides the other junk that I'm working on, this is my side-project.
If you want to view the source-code, here's the link to it. Although you might've already gotten the link for it previously.
Sounds great, if true!! May I suggest that you make the mod open source for others to contribute and for everyone to track your progress?

How much longer should it take?
Um, yeah, this mod is for Minecraft version 1.4.7, and I am pretty sure that this mod is not going to be updated anymore. :\
Look at the first post. -.-;

it wouldn't hurt to click it, and if you do thanks!

It's all up to the original developer.
(I, personally won't. However, the original developer gets the final say whether I will, or not.)
Status update, the original developer has granted me permission to release the source-code. You can find it here.

I actually updated it to 1.5.2. It's just buggy since fixing the decompiling errors it was just a pain to do.
Nice to see you here anyways
