Hey everyone!
We here at Indie is.ME would like to (unoffically) start updating ConvenientInventory for you! The 1.8.1 update took far too long to come out and we want to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thankfully, EvenPrime, the original creator of ConvenientInventory came back to give us all a 1.8.1 version, and we want to make sure you can get it without making the original creator come back to something he doesn't want to do anymore.
What Does it do?
- ConvenientInventory speeds up inventory management by adding some new features that are easy to use and understand.
- Move, Drop, and Craft items and stacks with just a single mouse click
- Middle Mouse Button sorts inventory easily and instantly
- The (key) + LMB for most of the actions can easily be remapped to whatever you want
- This also works in multiplayer!
How To Install:
1. Open minecraft.jar
2. Add the two ".class" files to the minecraft.jar
3. Delete the META.INF folder
4. PLAY MINECRAFT! :biggrin.gif:
Some Info:
Convenient Inventory aims at speeding up inventory management by giving the player many additional features:
Move|Drop|Craft -- single items|stacks of items|all items of the same type -- with a single mouse click.
Sort your inventory and chests based on item ids.
The key + mouse button combinations for (almost) all these actions can be remapped to whatever fits your gaming style.
Everything works in multiplayer.
I'd just like to say thank you SO MUCH for taking over this project. This mod is way too useful and amazing to just drop after a large update.
One quick question I had, are you guys going to add any interesting button combinations, or possibly add a gui to the controls menu for this? Or just update/maintain it towards the newer versions of Minecraft?
Thanks a lot for taking the project on! Minecraft is basically unplayable for me without this now.
Would you consider adding the auto replace from InvTweaks into this? Obviously would need to be an option.
The new feature I've been adding will empty your bottom crafting grid and throw all the items from it into the top. I'm still working on it, but I'll include it in the next version
Repped this author, will be supporting THIS from now on, thank you guys for taking over the project, you have my 100% support. If you have official permission from EvenPrime, it would go a LONG way.
I will be linking this, unofficial or not. That "Other Team" is about worthless. Over a month without an update, a fix of any kind, functionality added.. nothing. Simply disgraceful.
Thanks again for keeping this one alive, it's a long time convenient favorite of mine, and I recommend it to all of my users. :3
1. I updated this, evenprime also updated this. I took the 1.7.3 source code to make this update. TAH-DUH
2. Thanks for the peoples support! :biggrin.gif:
3. I hope not to disappoint you dsohler
I'm going to see if evenprime will make us the official managers. He may want to see the next update though. Eh, I can wait. :tongue.gif:

Actually he did update it,http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/150168-v173-convenient-inventory-19-changed-developer/page__st__560__p__8598025#entry8598025Just saw that you mentioned him updating it, but why not just use the original download link
BTW, some else is actually updating it for him http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/504091-v173-convenient-inventory-19/
It just does it better. Less configurations, more useful, doesn't change existing controls/mechanics.
-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true
run any jarmods
InvTweaks in a great mod an I entirely recommend using it!
In the next update I'm adding a new event, it should be really helpful. I'll tell you what it is soon!
It doesn't make me much, most people do the direct.:tongue.gif:

Either way, thanks again for the update!

Sorry about that, total accident I promise, I'm fixing now.
Thanks,
