you were supposed to put the zip file in the MODS folder NOT the minecraft.jar
umm im sorry for posting so much but how do i fix the freezing after clicking on the smith guy?
ok i found a solution to this
Basically its a conflict with some mod that changes something in the .minecraft folder that messes it up (i dont know what yet ill probably look into that later
But bottom line Delete your .minecraft file and re-install minecraft then re-install the mod and your golden. hope this works for u guys like it did for me :laugh.gif:

Excellent job Tyber! I absolutely love the mod :smile.gif: It takes a while and a lot of resources to get a city up and running, but it's worth it. Keep it up.
Hunters and guards die WAY too easy, wander WAY to far away when told to " guard this location". Heck I've thought they where all dead until I recalled them to base and found I still had 6 left alive from the 20 I had hired. And the fact that the first Creeper they see tends to kill em really does put a dampener on their usefulness. that and the shooting each other...
Now the other thing and I am sure its just a bug but I cant pick up the coins the the mobs drop if my inventory slots are all full, If I stand in the middle of a pile of coins and take an item out everything around me gets picked up.. hope you can fix that one.
Oh. Something else I almost forgot.. when you Upgrade to Tier 2, and you have stuff the chests in a house.. you might loose it all. I'm not sure if it happened when I upgraded or when I "repaired", but I lost a Ton of stuff.. almost made me want to delete the mod right there since I lost nearly 10 hours of accumulated work on one mouse click, with no warning. Since then i've been storing out of the Castle.. kind of defeats the point of having a "Safe" place to store stuff though! :tongue.gif:
I don't think any of these issues take away from the fun of the Mod. Just things i think you should look at.
I am having a major problem here, maybe i'm an idiot but every time i become a king and then go talk to the build city guy, i go find a place to build, click: build tier 1 city base. then when i go to right click on him... nothing happens, at fist i thought it was single player commands mod i installed so i redid everything in a .minecraft that only had this mod and mod loader, same thing happend. i realy like the idea of this mod and i would love to keep playing it but it seems like i cant... please tell me if i'm doing something wrong or is there something i have to do too start actually building city buildings. thankyou
This mod is incredible, it adds so much yet still maintains the balance of the game. It adds an incentive to not huddle up in a hole. I played for hours trying to find something that was wrong but there is nothing seriously wrong at all, its almost perfect, even more so when I heard of your future update plans.
There is however one thing that bugs me, the entrance. Later on will you be able to perhaps construct a more interesting gate? Using fence to look like the 'gate' within a stone brick archway? Similar to the original guild. I just don't feel safe with the current gaping hole. Also a buildable 'look out' at the gate would be useful and you could hire guards to protect the gate.
I understand it's a lot to ask and you've got a lot to do but I just wanted to suggest this.
I think that your ' Enemy ' should be a rival kingdom and their king will be the evil, this will mean things like wars, the possible fall of your kingdom, and the eventual victory ( which can be a literal takeover of the enemies city),because of this the enemy army shouldn't have powers but their king should, but the idea of waves of enemies should have an "Approaching army alert" system, and your warriors should have more then two functions, they should have options like "Patrol Area" (Area being a 15x15 block spot from the position you assigned the order), "Hunt", "Follow", and etc. If you want to eliminate all those functions so it doesn't get packed then make new groups for your army like "Guards", "Hunters", "Assassins", maybe more. Each group should have it's own leader and 3 different ranks for these groups, rank 4 being the leader. The leader will make it's own decisions for its group like how many of that groups men will be sent to this area, when to switch between men, or when to call all his men in to attack an invading army. Though the price to hire men should vary and they should require daily payment. Lastly the mod is called tale of Kingdoms. Plural on Kingdoms. One city shouldn't be enough, after you take over the enemies city that should be added to your kingdom and then a 2 city kingdom should arise and the process continues. Whether there should ever even be an official ending isn't up to me.

Well, I spent quite a long time killing mobs, Built my kingdom, But when It generated my kingdom, The guy that builds your stuff is now broken for me. When I right click him, Nothing happens.
Tier two there is a food shop that sells all food :wink.gif:
