is there a way to remove the watering part of farming
i changed the waterfarmland to false in the cfg file but its not stopping it....
Strange. I just set my waterfarmland to false and farmland stops being watered from nearby water, like it should. Is that what you are wanting to stop? If so try deleting "mod_FarmCraftory.cfg". Reload Minecraft so it creates a new cfg file. Close Minecraft and change waterfarmland to false. Reload Minecraft and check if farmland still gets watered from waterblocks.

i want to make it like normal minecraft so do i set it to true or false ?
the reason is at night im never close to my house and lose all my crops
is there a way you can make the kitchen counter cook like the furnace where if i have say 20 turnip in there it will cook them all cooking one at a time can be annoying and time consuming
Good job man. You have really captured the feeling of Runecraft and placed it into Minecraft. Once you have medicine, smithing, and potentially cave farming... you will have finished it all. Good job indeed, sir...
Would it be possible for you to include a download for the MC 1.0.0 versions of your mods? I'm currently staying with that, because MC 1.1.0 caused some nasty bugs, but I'd still love to use your mods.

(is it like this for the experience ? )
You sort of answered your own question. The reason it's one at a time is because of the leveling system and experience. I know it seems time consuming at the moment, but I still plan for food have extra benefits (potion effects) which will make more sense for building up your cooking level. (better effects at higher levels). I also have a plan to work step by step to balance the exp rate ,lvling rate, cooking time, farm growth time, and ect. That's probably the hardest thing to do right since there are so many factors going into them.

Thanks a lot. Support like this is what keeps me wanting to continue the mods. It's probably just in my head, but lately, I've been kinda worried that my mods are not getting a lot positive feedback anymore. I wish I could dedicate all of my time to improve them, but I do what I can in the amount of free time I get during the week. Maybe I'm just being down on myself. Who knows. lol

What the poop are you talking about? not only do you have a good idea here, but your mods are some of the most well made, bug free mods out there in my opinion :biggrin.gif:

Yeah sorry, I don't know why I'm being hard on myself. lol I've just lost a lot of my energy lately due to so many other things going on in my life in the last few months. I appreciate you guys supporting me. Thanks.
I like the mod, but after playing it for a few hours there was some creeping concerns with the seeds.
Seeds aren't hard to get, so long as you have a fairly large area with tall grass like a plain nearby, I wanted to get into farming right away and ended up clearing a pretty substantial area of land to get a nice sized crop going, but the tall grass doesn't grow back, instead, I eventually have to go further and further away each season to get the seeds I want, and if I get unlucky I might have to make a boat trip after a while because my seeds didn't regenerate as the crops got farmed.
I was using nature overhaul to have naturally regenerating tall grass but it turned out to have a nice bug so I couldn't keep using it.
Perhaps a different way to get seeds or a more guaranteed drop from farmed plants would be better.
Also, cooking one piece of flour at a time is incredibly tedious, maybe it wasn't your intention to make large amounts of food at a time and focus on one thing, but making flour seems like the only way to gain EXP until you can bake bread at level 10, I must have made over a stack of flour one at a time, it wasn't a nice experience.
You could either greatly increase the cooking time or make it like furnaces in that it will cook all the items and make a nice stack of them at the end.
I really appreciate this kind of feedback. It didn't cross my mind about tall grass being a problem like that. I suppose you could always use bonemeal to spawn in some more, but its true that the rate of drops is fairly low since it's based on your farming level. (Higher farming level produces higher rate of seed drops.) It's likely though, that I'm going to tweak all of the growing/drop/exp rates for my mods to be a lot easier. I honestly haven't done a lot of testing in that area, but it seems that I need to do increase them. As for cooking, flour isn't the only thing you can cook at level 0. And there's also a lot of level 5 recipes too. But like I mentioned, I'll tweak the rate of cooking to be much quicker in a future update. Anyway, again appreciate your feedback.
I dont mean to be a poopy head but is there any way you can add apple saplings? it would be great because i would be able to have an abundance of apples :smile.gif: If you cant its fine though.

Set it to true. You can turn it off (false) for the extra challenge, but normal watering is turned on (true) by default.

Oops. Didn't realize I left those out. I'll re-add them in when I get home later.

This seems to be a common problem. I may need to update the installation video and be more clear where the mods go.
