I would like it if you could DO something with the crops after harvesting them, because right now it just feels like collecting all the veggies and fish. But... I'm a sucker for collecting things that have no purpose, so thanks for the mod!

You are right about the collection stuff. I'm currently figuring out a cooking system which will make harvesting the veggies and fish worth the trouble. Look for it in the near future once the dust clears from Mojang's updating frenzy. :tongue.gif:
It seems that Dokucraft isn't very compatible with some mods.... When I used an unmodded version, I get all the cool graphics, BUT when I use my dokucraft with mods... well.... this happens.
EDIT: After checking through my mods, it seems to be the Risugami's Arrow Mod that clashes with yours, thus causing this oddly horrific sprite problems. Not a big deal since I can just not install arrow mod, but thought I'd share.
The very left item was my pickaxe. Doesn't look like one, of course. And all your crops and fish disappeared as well.

Can you prove you made these sprites? I'm pretty certain you didn't and that they're ripped from the game. If you really did hand draw them then consider this a compliment... but I doubt that you did. Looks like they were ripped from one of the DS games. If you didn't make them then consider this a heads up to start making your own or at least editing the heck out of them until it's not possible to make the connection. Those sprites are already protected by copyright. Claiming them as your own and distributing them is sort kinda illegal.
I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. Just suggesting you cover your trail so you don't get into trouble. Any RF fan would be skeptical seeing those sprites.
Anydangway... I started working on a RuneFactory texture pack the first week of August and quit bothering with it. I finished almost the top line of textures in the terrain.png and some of the landscape textures. So about a month for 20 something textures (out of a billion). 1.8, 1.9, and 1.10 adding tons more textures really drained what was left of the small amount of motivation I still had to keep working on it. To put things into perspective, I spent 8 hours on the TNT alone. 6-7 on making sand, deleting sand, redoing sand again.
If I ever do complete it, I'll have to think of a different name now. :T
Is there going to be some sort of sprinkler system for automatically watering the crops? This mod seems awesome but within a game like Minecraft, another thing to micromanage seems tedious and unnecessary. It will force you to stay close to your base instead of exploring. Long ventures down into mines to get materials will see your crops dying from lack of watering so this would seem to keep you from being able to accomplish anything useful other than having a vegetable garden.

I'm with the people looking for some sort of irrigation to work with farming. I'd love to download it, as farming is fun, but having to come b ack home to re-water everything every morning will get frustrating. Anything you can do?
Hey, idea. If you're going to make it MineForge compatible, why not make a new type of pipe to work with buildcraft or BTW that would be for irrigating. H eck, you could use the waterwheel or windmill to help in moving the water through these irrigation thingys (maybe not pipe, but perhaps a mini-aquaduct?) Mind you, you'd also have to do a non-other-mod-requiring method for those who don't use buildcraft or BTW or whatever it would work with. Just a suggestion!
I will definately be downloading the fish mod . I love fishing, but only having one thing to fish up is a little boring. Maybe find some way to add in random non-fish.. like an old boot that has treasure in it, or a bottle that has a message in it, or somesuch?

Rune Factory is pretty awesome and good job porting it over to Minecraft!
