But could you do our friend sp614x a favor and allow him to use this for his 1.9 OptiFine update? You'd save him so much work now that you've made my laptop actually run MC smoothly.
Very odd thing, when I have f3 open it doesn't really lag. Then when I have f3 closed it lags. :/ Also i'm using a 32x texture pack with the latest mcpatcher.
OMG! it works perfectly! I used to play on fast and with smooth lighting off and distance tiny but now i play it at any settings and runs fast as Great job to the person who created it :smile.gif:
Just wanted to pop in a post to say thanks, though I probably won't be using this too much.
Mainly because I get 3-6 FPS on Tiny/everything off with 1.9_Pre, modded .exe, High Priority, etc.
but thanks to this topic and others like it (Thank you Optifine) I've managed to bump up my 1.8.1 from Short to Far (Fast/Graphics Options all Off) at 13-16 FPS, which is acceptable for me, considering the increased sight distance.
I'm hoping that with the full release (in a few days if 1.8 was any indication of the pre releases, lol) the lag will be greatly reduced. May poke around here and there, but....
still, thanks for helping me run my 1.9 preview a LITTLE bit as opposed to the 5-second delay between mouse movement and actual screen movement.
This is working amazing for me, thank you so much. I'm currently on render distance far, graphics fancy and smooth lighting and brightness: bright, and it is working much faster for me than the settings I were on before without your fix (render distance: tiny graphics: fast smooth lighting: off brightness +40%). It was a bit laggy after first run of Minecraft after install but I logged off of my computer and logged back in. IT WAS WORKING WONDERFULLY. s for you.
EDIT: However, occasionally after exiting the Menu GUI it spikes in lag, but soon after that it's working fine again.
I second this motion.
strange
and does the other link is another thing or just another dl page?

EDIT: Yay 500 post
Admin and Landscaper
*Yes I removed META-INF
*No I don't have any other mods to interfere.
I could run 1.8.1 at 20-30 fps with normal distance and smooth lighting , and fast graphics...
With those settings on 1.9 i get 0 fps....
with the lowest settings i still get 0 fps :sad.gif:
Close Minecraft.
