i got the black screen crash like alot of other people not sure why its happening i have deleted the meta inf file
so to anyone downloading this mod BEFORE CHANGING THE GZ CLASS FILE make a copy of the original gz so you can fix your minecraft.jar if it doesnt work
I had the same issue with these 2 lines. I noticed in the craftbukkit server they use some kind of Vec3D class for this to solve it I guess.
However for myself I just changed those functions to always return false
This makes enderman not teleport or respond to looking at them. However they still become hostile when attacking them.
Only the enderman class file has changed. And I rebuild the jar + meta dir since the minecraftserver will cause you version issues.
For client jar its so easy :smile.gif:
Thank you very much, I will be using this on my server immediately.
Hopefully at some point, I can figure out how to get it working without those two errors, but this will definitely do for now.
If you add class files to the minecraft jar and get this black screens you need to remove the META-INF\MANIFEST.MF from the jar file.
Thank you, kind sir, it works. So far, no block removing either. Do you, or anyone, know what that meta file is? I'm curious about what I just deleted.

It basically lists the contents of the Minecraft.jar file, and when you run Minecraft, Java will check to make sure that everything in the Minecraft.jar is exactly the way it's listed in the META-INF.
So obviously, if you add a mod, you've changed the Minecraft.jar, and when Java checks the META-INF, it will see that you've altered the game, and won't let you start it.
You need to delete the META-INF whenever you add a mod, for this reason.
Apologies if this has been asked already, but the download that makes the Endermen waterproof but keeps their ability to pick up/move blocks, does it have the ghast noises? Because right now that's a selling point for me, lol.

Zombie noises aren't scary, ghast noises are.
No, I just made that one because it was requested, but I could make one with Ghast noises if you want.

Thank you, sir. Is there any drawback to having deleted it? Do I have to expect bad things in future?

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, that would be great! Scary noises, no weakness to water, and can still do damage to structures. Just the right blend to make a threatening Enderman.
If Notch had a comprehensive modding API available to whoever owned the game, then he would never have to update Minecraft ever again and just let the fans take care of it.

Alright, I'll make one and add it to the first post in a few minutes, keep an eye out.
The problem? It isn't compatible with TehKrush's Timber mod. Just wanted you to look into that if possible. :tongue.gif:

Thanks again. :biggrin.gif:
Oh how I agree.
Oh, how you can save me.
If you could do one more thing, make the Timber! mod update...
I've tested it on my end, and the endermen aren't picking anything up on my server.

But that, my friend, is irrelephant.
So their nothing more than zombies?
Maybe, but I think it's better to have a mod, than to have nothing at all.
None that I know of, lots of people use mods all the time without problems.
