I recently started construction on some roads to make traveling throughout my world a bit easier, and already I'm seeing tons of potholes in the road from those endermen stealing random blocks.
I've also really been getting tired of seeing the rest of the landscape near my house and factory starting to look like Swiss cheese and have been wasting a lot of time running around with a pile of dirt filling them in. Call it OCD if you want but it really bothered me running past terrain that I was familiar with and suddenly seeing a few blocks out of place haha.
Thank you! Hope your this quick with 1.5.1 since they clearly need it with passive mobs glitching into blocks and dying. nearly lost all my farms form it till I went back to 13w05b before that bug started.

Wow, that sounds bad. I'm still playing on 1.4.7 modded with the OldDays mod, so I haven't had to deal with that one yet.
I shall try to update quickly for 1.5.1, but it depends on how busy I am when they decide to release it.
I usually don't like releasing for pre-release versions, because they have a tendency to release more than one pre-release before releasing the actual version (like 1.4 & 1.4.1, before 1.4.2), and I don't like recoding the mod a bunch of times in a row.
So for this one, I waited until the day before the release to try and lower the odds of that happening.
I think Dinnerbone mentioned something about fixing the white lines in texture packs but, waiting for official release to implement it. Sounds like there dead set on making the pre-release an official release and after a few days, do more bug fixing. They would have a bigger audience to mention bugs then they do with snapshots. Also there bug report thing sucks as they lumped mine with someone complaining since 1.3 with the SSP merging into SMP about SMP glitchyness in general.
First off, I love your mod! But do you think you could remove all monster caused environmental block damage?
I used to use the Friendly Creeper mod that made the explosions of creepers no longer damage blocks, found here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/334760-181-team-fortress-2-teleporter-sentry-pitmans-mods/#creepers
But he is no longer supporting it, and has offered up the source code at the bottom of the first post. Maybe you could update this and make it work again? If you could do the same to Ghast's fireballs too that'd be gravy

I think he used to do this mod himself long ago. If you want no mob damage to terrain then do the command for it. In game hit Esc then go to Open LAN turn on cheats and enter "/gamerule mobGriefing false"
Edit: I wouldn't. I just checked, and the rv.class file isn't the same in 1.5.2 as in 1.5.1.
I'm so unwilling to allow enderman griefing that I won't update unless I can control it. So I will patiently await an update of this mod. ;-)
And by the way, I want to express my appreciation to Jeffrey6978 for its creation and upkeep.
The code was actually pretty close between the 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 rv.class files, only a couple of minor differences.
I wanted to test what would happen, so I loaded up the 1.5.1 version into 1.5.2, but those minor differences unfortunately were enough to cause it to crash.
So, I will have to make a 1.5.2 version.
I'm starting that now.
I'm glad you find the mod useful, I knew immediately when I saw one of those Endermen holding a block in the first Beta 1.8 Prerelease, that the game would be unplayable for me as long as they had that ability, I am really OCD when it comes to my main world from Alpha 1.1.1.
I remember staying on 1.7.3 until after 1.8.1 was out, and I had managed to figure out a way to disable it.

We are TOTALLY on the same page with this. All manner of useful structures in my worlds are made with dirt, sand, etc. From the first version that allowed their griefing, I had Endermen causing floods, freeing animals, cluttering tunnels with random blocks, making hillsides into obstacle courses.
I found it utterly intolerable, and having no way to control it made me truly angry. I made some pretty hotheaded posts here on the forums. :-) Your mod saved the day.
Ah, wonderful. I spotted the update even as I wrote this. Cheers!

Useless huh?
You don't say?
Thanks for testing it, saves me some time.
@Badinfos: Thanks for checking that out.
And yeah, great mod. Weird that there's no built-in "switch," though.
Bahaha.

This mod will be a great help.
I've got the new version out early this time, before the official release of Minecraft 1.5, have fun with it!
