This is actually an awesome idea man, even though I haven't tried it, it sounds great. However, I'm thinking that mostly people playing on legit worlds will use this when they're mining. I don't know about you, but it would kind of feel like cheating if I keep getting free torches placed on walls... could you maybe have an option for the mod to only place torches if there are some in your inventory? That would be really cool.
Yourleader, you need to post pictures to show that the mod works. People want to see how the mod functions. Does it take torches from your inventory? What light level does it place them at? Where will the torch be placed, on the left, right, or in front of you? Basically, we want to see the mod working before we download it.
thats funny because i can make a jpeg format your lil windows pc
and i have yet to see a *nix virus that can actually do anything useful without being ran "root" and mind you if your running something under "root" most likely you know what your running.
oh and i dont remember a jpeg ever formatting a *nix hdd, but maybe im wrong but then again that would mean that this awesome jepg that i have on my computer would have formatted my pc like it did one of my "old" friends
ps-got my masters degree. i studied network security and im damn good a making my own kernels for *nix systems, so i would like to say that i do know what im talking about
anyways back to the point
i tested this mod
i also had Mo Creatures installed
after installing the mod it took aways the menu for mo creatures
already fixed it on my end but im sure someone else is gonna run into that problem and not be able to fix it as easily as i did
I realized that in advanced because it edits the GuiOptions, class. I will try getting around that

Let me guess, it works in SMP? If so, then it's a lame cheat mod. Also do you need to have torches in your inventory or not?
How is it a cheat? You have to have torches on you for them to be placed. It does not give you torches. It's no different then if you were to switch to a torch and place it yourself. You're question and assumption would have been answered of you had read the topic any.
I find this to be a very handy tool. Perhaps a quick disable hotkey that can be pressed so when a cave yealds nothing we can back track picking up the torches and not have them redrop. a.k.a not have to pause, go into the options, disable it, then go back, but rather just press a quick key to enable/disable.
