Never seen that "Incompatible argument to function" before so wondered if it was GUIAPI.Many thanks for any help and if its Mos, sorry for posting here...TG
I get the same, exact problem. I guessed it was something to do with Mo'Creatures, but I'm slightly afraid to talk to Mr. Zhark. He intimidates me into feeling rather... stupid. :c Therefore, if you find the answer to this, please tell me. Thanks. <3
I use the MyCraft mod manager/loader and run into a situation where GuiApi can't find 'font\default.png' and 'gui\gui.png' so I have to extract those two from minecraft.jar and put them(folder and file structure intact) into the GuiApi folder. I'm having to do this to use IdResolver. I'm guessing the same would be necessary for folks who put as much as possible into modloader's mod folder.
Is there a better fix/workaround that could be put into GuiApi? Or does it just like to be put inside minecraft.jar?

As far as I know it's MyCraft's issue, because we load some of Minecraft's files.
What are the new subscreen variables. I get this error:
Subscreen cannot be resolved to a type
and this is the code:
Subscreen subscreen = new Subscreen("Palm Trees Config", "Palm Trees");
Yeah, I deprecated the Subscreen class a while ago. Just use WidgetSimplewindow and makeButton. There's an example of usage in the examples (mod_GuiApiIntermediateExample).
i tried using WidgetSimplewindow, and it said i needed like a widget in a widget ex. WidgetSimplewindow(widget, string). i gave up at that point wanted to watch tv and sleep, hopefully Coupon22 gets it.
Yeah, that's correct.
As I said, in the examples it shows you to create WidgetClassicTwocolumn / WidgetSinglecolumn, add your widgets to that, and then create WidgetSimplewindow with that widget.

The last 1.7.3 Cersion was Version 0.11.0-1.7. The minecraft version GuiAPI is made for is in it's version number.

Drag and drop all the files into minecraft.jar using 7zip(recommended), winRAR or another archiver

Life is a Learning Curve....
Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
do i put all the files in the unziped folder into my minecraft.jar folder to instal it?
Sorry I didn't state this, but I needed a compatibility fix for this mod and a mod called Control Pack.

I made detailed examples for a reason.
