Is there a config ? I dont see one :ohmy.gif:
Okay, i was to silly to check the mods folder aswell ._.
I also didnt read the last page and replied on the first page...
You obviously didn't read the "READ ME!.txt" in the zip file. The config is at .minecraft/mods/Decoratives/Configuration.cfg
Love this mod! But is it compatible with the red power mod? i really wanted colored lights to kinda tie everything together, but when i tried installing it with your mod it black screened :/ Did i do something wrong or can the two not be used together at all? If they can't, might I suggest adding colored lightning to this mod? That would be epic :biggrin.gif:

It should be perfectly compatible. In fact, redpower and decoratives use the same base mods (modloader and mc forge). Make sure you installed modloader and minecraft forge, and if it still doesn't work, post your crash report in this thread.

I tried it again and it again black screened. It didn't crash, after I log into minecraft all I get is a black screen, what am I doing wrong? Please note that all mods are in their proper spot and META-INF has been deleted and that there is no crash report to show, just a black minecraft screen :/

try looking in the command prompt window that opens in the crash mode and post what it says.
I downloaded this mod and everything started up correctly. I can use all the blocks this mod includes, except I can't place carpets. When I try to place a carpet, my game crashes. No crash report was generated. When I use the recipe book to look up the recipes, it says that to craft a carpet I use a dye color and unknown item. Do you have any idea what this is all about? I like the rest of the mod, and I can use it just fine, but I initially downloaded this mod for the carpets.

Well, the carpet recipe is two pieces of wool, not a dye and an item. Have you tried looking at the command prompt for an error message?
Hi
I'm the one with the huge city. I hope you remember me :smile.gif:
Finally i decided to update my world to 1.0 (Not the current version because CubicChunks isn't updated yet, just in case you're asking yourself why)
You told me to change the block IDs of the StainedGlass Blocks to the IDs they've been before to minimize the damage that could be produced. It would be cool if you tell me how to do that.
Hey man I'm really sorry, but since I added metadata a while back any blocks from before that won't be able to be converted. Since I rEALLY liked the city, I'd be willing to try and convert it in MCEdit if you send it to me.
Oh no, thats not so good cause Cubic Chunks actually uses another save format for every world you create with this mod and thats why MCEdit won't open it.
I guess now you also got no more ideas how to convert.
The only possibility i still got is to reconstruct every single facades i built with the StainedGlass mod. :sad.gif:
That really sucks man, I wish I could do something

OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOD!!!! only one suggestion, can you edit the Blockgravel.java, and make it so you have to break it with cheers to get flint, other wise for me it is very difficult to collect gravel and make concrete! ANYWAYS I LOVE YOU! Also make it so you can have fancy wood, fancy cob be, and smooth sandstone half slabs!

Sorry, but I have a strict rule on myself not to edit any base classes :sad.gif: (for compatibility). And half slabs are a plan, but not a priority.
Yeah well you're right that sucks but till now the stained glass isn't the most used building material in my city so I'm gonna rebuilt everything. Probably it'll take one day or so ... who cares? :laugh.gif:
