I have a question. Would you grant permission to allow someone to port this to BukkitPort? What Bukkit port is using bukkit and modloader. They are a respectful bunch of people who will not play around with your code nor be insulting and such. They pretty much port to bukkit so people who run Servers like me can have not only amazing mods like Twilight Forest but also have stability and security that comes with bukkit and the 1000's of plugins!
I'll have to look into it. If it's easy, I'd prefer to do the coding myself.
oh sorry, i guess it still depends on the sequence of installing the mods

a clean minecraft_server.jar? and install everything from the start? try running and testing the server every after install of each mod from modloadermp then forge then the forge fix (server block breaker fix, server modloader class fix) then the twilight without the lf.class and ft.class by "drag n drop" it into the server jar and dont put it on the mod folder also just drag n drop to the server jar.. sorry if im not much of a help but im just sharing what i did when i experienced this..
note: how bout trying it in a new world if it works
I love this mod and have used past versions of it, but when I install this version it crashes on both single player and multiplayer. On multiplayer I get an "end of stream" error and on single player it just crashes and quits instantly. I have tried installing it every way I can think of and nothing works. I am using no other mods except modloader. Please help!
two words "bad idea" cuz I hate Twilight, but still good luck
It has nothing to do with the movie series. It's only called Twilight Forest because A. Its in a forest and B. It's always frozen at the time "Twilight".
This environment is similar to some of my coolest dreams. The stars, the ambiance, the glowing bugs, the forest. I really like it. And when installed with my mod (BigTrees) there are a few more tree types in there. :biggrin.gif:
I love this mod, and everything looks so beautiful when it's twilight :smile.gif:
Are vanilla strongholds supposed to generate in the twilight forest? cause I just found one and I dont remember the OP saying anything regarding this. Either way, it goes great.
Also, how come in the dungeon chests there are sugar cane blocks instead of the items? It's not really much of an issue, just wondering.

It looks like Twilight Forest is conflicting with ModLoader to me, but I'm not very computer savvy so I could be completely off. Does anyone know what could possibly be the problem? Perhaps I installed incorrectly? I put all of the .class files with the "twilightforest" folder in my minecraft.jar and also put the "resources" folder into my .minecraft folder.
I've installed and used many mods over the many version of minecraft. and this is the only mod I am having trouble with.
I just came across this mod a few days ago and decided to try it out. Fresh install of minecraft
installed mod loader, audio mod, and GUI API (that last one is for Mo Creatures which it should be compatible with as per yogbox). I then coppy the twilight forest and all class files to the .jar and then combine the resources files in the .zip with the one in my .minecraft file

EDIT: so I'm just plain stupid I think. I didnt read fully that it requires Modloader MP as well.... so it'll prob work now. second edit incoming.
I installed this mod from the yogbox pack and when i go to the twilight forest there are mobs spawing from the sky and it doesn't stop, and this seems to be causing a loooot of lag and after some time it becomes almost impossible to play as there are hundreds of mobs in the place I am. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?
I Also tried to delete the folder that contain the twilight forest world so as my minecraft would generate a new one hopping it would fix the problem, but it didn't.
PS: I'm using version 1.5 of the plugin.
I figured it out what was causing the problem. It wasn't twilight forest after all, but millenaire mod. I'm just saying this here in case someone else has the same problem.
Not to sound impatient, but I still haven't gotten any help with my crash. You acknowledged the post, but I didn't see any way of fixing it. I have reinstalled each of my mods to no avail.
Hey, first off is it is a great mod, I love it. Lots of nice lovely features and it adds a whole new world to explore.
I was thrilled when I saw that it was for SMP. (Well, originally when I got it it wasn't, but it is now)
But I have noticed two SMP bugs.
1) Occasionally you teleport to the Nether instead of Twilight Forest, only seems to happen when more then one person is using it.
2) When you die in Twilight Forest you respawn at some random place, where I would assume it would either be near the portal or back in the normal world. It may also be because my normal spawn point was covered at the time that I died.
I'll have to look into it. If it's easy, I'd prefer to do the coding myself.

And also how do I install it on a bukkit server
