Has anybody else here having some problems with the Twilight Forest and Chocolate Quest. I am having massive dungeons just spawning randomly ( and very annoyingly ) every where in the Twilight Forest. I have consulted Chocolatin ( Maker of Chocolate Quest ) and have tried to fix my problems with him and by myself. Has anybody have a solution, it seems like the Twilight Forest is allowing Chocolate Quest from spawning these dungeons in no matter what I change in the Chocolate Quest config. Can somebody help me with this problem?

The Twilight Forest seems to have a problem with worldgen in general, in that it seems to allow everything, whether it's enabled or not. Such as Chocolate Quest dungeons, or config-disabled ores.
Is that why ive been having crazy lag in some spots? because i normally run 100+fps even with all of my mods but in some areas in the dimension, it drops to about 25-30 FPS...ive also noticed it rains in some areas and i take damage.

The rain is the Enforced Progression that everyone seems to be somehow unaware of, even after all this time. You have to follow the achievements to unlock each area of the forest. Most are tied to picking up a specific item, so if you don't get an achievement after killing a boss, try tossing the stuff you got on the ground and picking it up again. The Naga drops two achievement items, for example: the trophy and the naga scale. The scale achievement won't trigger until after the trophy one.

I get that alot in the Highlands biome. I always thought it was because I wasnt high enough on the Progression. Strange but I found taking cover underground or under a tree stops the damage. On another note however, they need to make Chocolate Quest 1.1 have a dimension control ( That actually works ) and Twilight Forest to have a selection in the mod Config that allows the Twilight Forest to prevent other mods from preventing to change it. The mod Hardcore Ender Expansion has this feature and its amazing! It keeps out everything from ores, mobs and Chocolate Quest dungeons! I love the Twilight Forest and I love Chocolate Quest but seeing the two mods collide really sucks. I guess at this point I am waiting for a new update for both the mods or somebody to figure out this problem....
Ok, I fixed my issue with chocolate quest, it was the Capital letters for the spawn area, but is anybody having Magic Map troubles? I don't have optifine and on my magic map, it doesn't show Liche towers or the player icon. Very weird, the only thing I can think of that is interfering is Rei's minimap. Anybody have a fix or is experiencing this?

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.
I'm in a new DIM, let's call it DIMX, not my overworld.
I created a portal into Twilight Forest from DIMX it works fine but when I jump back from Twilight forest to go back to my DIMX, it always takes me to the overworld DIM0.
If I brake the portal in DIM0, go back to Twilight from DIMX, then try to return from Twilight Forest, it will once again create the same portal back into DIM0.
Is there a way to change that and have it go back to DIMX?
So that I'm always going from DIM X to TW to DIMX.

I found a Goblin Knight stronghold and I found the knight phantoms and blew their heads off. So after that I explored the area and found a second knight phantom room (and I blew their heads off too). Is it common for two knight phantom rooms to spawn in a stronghold, or is it even intended?
Yeah, it happens. What sucks is when the two rooms are close enough to be connected and they swarm you...

Considering Chocolatin has been AWOL since this summer, if you did speak to him, you sure waited a while before coming here...
Speaking of AWOL modders, I notice that some of this mod's features are marked as W.I.P, but there hasn't been an update since march? What's the story?
about this mod, im playing on my server, 3gb ram allocated, and on twilight forest there are tons of areas where i only get steady 1 Fps framerate, why is this? what could be so brutal, particles? some twilight mobs? i dont even see a single one in some of these zones... literally unplayable, and it didnt use to be like this
The problem is that, if they were indeed answering the post on the first page, that means there are 563 PAGES of replies between then and now, and absolutely no reason to reply to it.
Which areas in particular are you getting low FPS? Certain biomes? The enforced progression effects may not be playing nice.

not by biomes, i'd say its randomly in almost a checkers pattern. even enforced progression is on false
As far as I know, enforced progression can't be disabled anymore. You have to set it for each segment using commands. The gamerule and config option don't do anything anymore.
Are you seeing any particles in the affected areas? The whole forest in general is in a sort of grid format (especially noticeable with a Magic Map).

well, i see some sort of black, fume lines coming from the ground in dark forests
Damn the enforced progression. Its a fine concept, but without any form of easily obtainable, obvious guide, it's horrid
try to enter one of the zones too soon and a koboloid spawns. kill him to get a journal that tells you what you should try first.
and you just look at the achievements. it follows that.

If someone finds a way to update a mod from 1.7 to 1.8 without rewriting it from scratch, then I think we'll see an awful lot of 1.8 mods.
