Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm having trouble finding The Twilight Forest's config file in my server. I've installed the mod, ran the server once... Is it supposed to pop up in the config folder in my server? Because it's not appearing there. Do I have to go to the dimension before it'll come up?

I'm not sure why it wouldn't appear in the server files, and it sounds like you're looking in the right place (config folder). You shouldn't have to go to the dimension - that would be problematic if you needed to make important changes before going there (like changing biome IDs).
I have a temporary solution: Copy the config file from your client to the server. It would at least have a config then.

From what I've seen in there I think you ran out of memory trying to render a texture. Are you using a resource pack with a higher quality then the default? If so then that might be your problem right there. See if you run into the same issue when using the default resource pack.

Delete that better biomes-> because i don't like that at all, and matmos sounds modification too-> because opening with sword is very annoying, and replace that zan's minimap to rei's minimap-> because you can get zan's minimap texture too, and don't delete optifine.
Wow.... just... wow. What was the point of that?
Just because you don't like some mods dosen't mean everyone needs to stop using them. The reason intercraft was told to remove optifine is because it was causing many problems with forge. Optifine will have a version that works with forge sooner or later and when its finished optifine can be reinstalled then.
I still can't beleve I read that though.... "Get rid of these mods just because I don't like them."

I just have to say this is one of the most developed and well polished mods I have ever played for Minecraft. You should legally be allowed to sell this as an expansion its so good. Also having a real life and updating this in a month is an amazing feat. Benimatic is awesome. I don't know if this is a bug, but everyone on my server seems to restart at the overworld spawn regardless of sleeping on the twilight map.
Hey! I clicked the download link but it says the page was not found after I click skip ad. Link broken, or just a problem with me? Can you put a direct link?

Honestly, I agree. If the Aeither (did I spell that right?) becomes an official Minecraft feature, then I certainly believe this one should as well (assuming the developer wants that). This is even like an 'expansion' of Minecraft.

I agree too. I played the hell out of this mod in both 1.4.5 and 1.5.2! That's why I'm sad that the download isn't working for me!

I'm glad mod content typically stays mod content. It usually has better support, and the really popular mods tend to bring in a bit of side income for the authors with adfly links. Aether II needs a ton of work still, and the way it's going I'd be none too happy to have it as part of vanilla. TF would be a much better choice - but again, I'm quite happy it's a mod.
Mojang needs to work on its current dimensions more IMO - End is typically "kill the dragon and never come back" and Nether is "stay just long enough to get brewing supplies (and now quartz) and only come back if you need to". Both could use some work to give them more presence in the game.

I completely understand what you mean. Mods have vastly better support than Vanilla Minecraft (ironic really, the official game should have better support). It would be nice if Mojang took some lessons from the mod developers who actually know how to use Java though... (the few that there really are, sadly enough).
With respect to monies, I did mention that I think this is an 'expansion'-like content... I hope to some day make a game (or two) and what I intend to do is, while making it modable, take mods that are exceptionally well put together (with at least the quality that I put into the game itself) and work with the developer to make it an official component of the game (be it DLC, expansion, or vanilla). Part of this process will be sharing an equivalent portion of the profits with the mod developers who I incorporate into the game. I think that is certainly fair, and, realistically, I believe more companies should do similar things (asserting equal quality to what they make themselves)... similar to Portal (originally a mod of Garry's Mod-itself a mod of HL2).
For the love of... People, please know that there is an EDIT button to add text to your posts... Posting three times in a row is so unnecessary I feel the extreme urge to report this as spam... (as there is an edit button...)
The hill chunk spam is annoying, but what's causing the problem seems to be on the client, where it's recalculating massive amounts of lighting. Specifically, you you go through the elements in the f3 pie chart, there's a part in "tick.level.checkLight" called "tcp < tcc" that seems to be taking over the whole processor.
Let me see what I can do about that. Thanks for the report!
This is still happening, and it seems to happen with your mod rather exclusively. What's going on?
Please don't ignore this. It is causing a major problem for many players.
Got into the Goblin Maze.
No boss yet, but plenty of enemies and a lot of chests. Really fun so far.
Anyone know what the armor shards can do? So far, I've only been able to stick em together, but haven't managed to craft anything with them.
Also, not sure if it's a bug, but I was having an issue with the explosive traps in the Labyrinth seeming to go off without being triggered.
This was especially annoying when I got to the vault room and it just exploded on me. didn't so much as look at the pressure plates or let the sand fall.

Wow.... just...
I SUPPORT THE TESTIFICATE LANGUAGE
Honestly, I agree. If the Aeither (did I spell that right?) becomes an official Minecraft feature, then I certainly believe this one should as well (assuming the developer wants that). This is even like an 'expansion' of Minecraft.
I agree too. I played the hell out of this mod in both 1.4.5 and 1.5.2! That's why I'm sad that the download isn't working for me!
I SUPPORT THE TESTIFICATE LANGUAGE
Please don't ignore this. It is causing a major problem for many players.
